It's all odd as Alan Jones is obviously a really nasty piece of work. Most of his convictions are violence rather then sex crimes except for one. Imo if he is involved is more likely he was an accessory. I don't really believe Paul bickford was involved. He is the only one who has fronted the media. Has has not hidden anything imo. I know people will disagree but I think as he has admitted previous guilt he is less dubious. And he has only been interviewed twice which shows the police don't have a huge interest in him. Bill Spedding in my eyes is still the prime suspect as he was there. If Derek Nichols knew bs Id be more convinced they are in it together. The whole thing does not add up. I do not believe they all are evil enough to murder a child as a group and have not come clean. I really don't know but think that AJ would want money, One of the other 3 got involved, possibly killed WT unintentionally. They are all covering as the all have sick interests in children but I don't think they all know where WT is. But maybe one of them. Evidence would suggest Derek Nichols.

When A Current Affair approached Nichols about his whereabouts on September 12, 2014, he angrily responded "the police know" and slammed his door.
It is believed Nichols told police he was 15km away from Kendall in nearby Dunbogan.

So 31 years ago Nichols was convicted of sexual assault and in the 31 years after that he was twice charged with possessing child . Pevert yes. Child murderer, not so sure.

No I didn't feel concerned about a paedophile ring as I truly believe that it is the new bogey man of the 2000's. It's every parents worst nightmare, fires people's imaginations and sells a lot of copy. For what we had presented to us in the media about WT's disappearance up until the point when the police announced they were investigating a peddo ring, it seemed that there were more feasible explanations as to what happened to him to explore and I'm sure have been behind the scenes. The ring idea, for how they operate in actuality, seemed really fanciful to me and I have felt sceptical of all the information that has been presented on each POI. I can see the connections the police have made and how forcefully this has been presented to the public for maximum effect through the media but there is a lot of beat up and inaccuracy in these stories as well. The police don't care about hanging any of these guys out to dry as they know that the public will have no sympathy for any of them. I think the guts of this investigation has not been heard by us yet. MOO

I felt sure that DN had been quoted as living in Dunbogan at the time of WT's disappearance. Haven't been able to find an article since then that states he was living there. Seems he moved to Kendall after WT went missing.

What astounds me...well not really - it seems too unbelievable to be true... But there is pure evil that walks amongst us. It may seem fanciful...a paedophile ring in this situation....but time and time again the depravation of other humans is relayed to us civilized humans that floors us...it's not just men...women too...complacent women - either co-offenders or simply those weak willed pathetic creatures that turn a blind eye....

I mean no disrespect Frogwell.....to say it's the new bogeyman of 2000's.....we have this new technology that has allowed us to have information at the touch of a button that we never had before.....I could probably link hundreds of depraved articles/news stories...with figures that are so shocking...it will make you look twice at your neighbours.... Being tired....all I can say is....recently...SA child care worker/access to kids on a daily basis - abused 100's of kids and ran an international paedophile photo sharing site with thousands of people, Young couple on the run after being caught up in an international child site that shared images of hundreds of children being abused, a gay couple that adopted a child and flew the child around the world to be a abused by hundreds of men, a wanted Melbourne man who set up international paedophile website sharing child abuse material - operating out of Bali for years - thousands of subscribers....he murdered children, recently a 24 year old out of Epping Victoria who maintained his empire of supplying video images of the torture of babies...BABIES.......and these are just off the top of my head...

For anyone that thinks that these sub humans...their actions....are just a beat-up to sell news articles...please think again. Society has a disease...and so many are affected.

Nicolls was living behind the preschool in Kendall....when he was picked up following the report of his weird interaction with the neighbours son....he was found with a USB containing child .....he was picked on his way to church!!!....I don't know what he was supposedly doing in Dunbogan that day...but he was definitely still a resident of Kendall when William went missing....

Helping to identify any connection between him and any other POI...would be a Key....having telecommunication blackout spots in Kendall....would be IMO the hardest points for investigators to make a connection...

if we can do anything...we could try to find that connection..

I read the same stories as you everyday puggle and I would agree to some extent with what you say. The M.O. for most of these stories is people sharing child abuse material online, some are producing child abuse material by themselves and have access to vulnerable children. They are not usually in this country kidnapping random children and passing them around organised groups. Call me naïve.... I dunno. Our 4 POI's have been under intense police and public scrutiny for months and 3 individually have form. None of them have even been connected yet with sharing 1 image let alone some heinous crime together. The info on DN you have is interesting, some of it I have not come across in any articles. I don't see how we could help police in their investigations with a communication blackspot at Kendall. MOO

Good question. And will the other sex offenders that lived nearby be released to the media too, slowly pressing a higher player? In the ACA segment PB answered questions twice with "We" then corrected it to "I". Who is "We"? Fellow sicko mates I assume.

Mr Nichols said he was on the child protection register for crimes committed in Victoria. He said he was living in Dunbogan when William went missing and said he did not know anybody connected to the case.

Nichols:
Nichols had been living in Kendall at the time William disappeared, and his property backed onto a preschool.
He told police he was in Dunbogan, a 20-minute drive away when the three-year-old disappeared

Spedding:
His wife Margaret is critical to his alibi in the William Tyrrell case, claiming they were drinking coffee together at a café in Laurieton, 10-minutes from Kendall, at the time.

Bickford:
He (Bickford) claims he’d been having lunch at his wife’s home with friends in Port Macquarie, 30-minutes north of Kendall and has denied suggestions he’s part of a paedophile ring.
