Maybe they were looking for a creepy house to buy, to do creepy stuff in.

Yes, I never liked that creepy super-cheap-must-sell-fast house with its creepy 'for sale' pics and the teddy bear on the back of the couch. I don't like its proximity to where William went missing, I don't like that those cars were seen parked on the road in front of it, I don't like that it looked like someone was squatting there ..... or maybe hanging out there for whatever reason.

“As this is an ongoing investigation, it’s not appropriate we discuss who is or who is not a person of interest.”

Jones is also friends with Bill Spedding, a washing machine repairman and an earlier person of interest.

Earlier .... ????

thanks for being right on to this SoSo. I saw the report first thing this morning, and must admit my first reaction was 'now the snippets are being made public'!
We have had bio grandma have her very public statement (with a quiet and easily overlooked remark by an anonymous companion, who still held strong to the ped gang)

I think we are now seeing some very strategic stuff being played out in the hope of getting that tiny missing piece that will complete the puzzle.

People are being linked, cars are being linked, times, occasions and venues are being linked - watch out peeps, they're coming to get you!

You had your chance to come clean, to explain the situation, to gain some sort of 'compensation' for finally doing what is morally and humanely correct - BUT you didn't take up the opportunity. So now YOU and all those covering and turning a blind eye, are GOING DOWN, and for a very long time.... IMOO.

Does anyone know why police do things this way? It's like they start wide then gradually pull the noose tighter and tighter, rather than reveal what they know from the start.

My guess is that they don't want to miss anything at the start, so they cast a wide net.

"We don't have any solid leads."

I remember them saying that, oh, about a billion times in the early months. I used to find it so distressing.

It does seem a bit coincidental that last week people were starting to doubt the involvement of pedophiles and look suspiciously at the family, now this has come out and the attention is back on the pedophiles.

One thing that really puzzles me, from looking at the bio family they don't appear to be aligned with always following the rules. Not saying they are bad people but they would appear confident in projecting their opinion. Where is their outrage? Where is their promise of retribution?

Unless the perps are known and keeping it in house was important.

I'm no gangster but if someone messes with my family i will unleash hell.

Most people would be the same , i think?

PB said he owned a white holden commodore and his son a grey Holden Astra sedan.
The car has been scrapped and at the time his son and the Astra were in Brisbane.

The former taxi driver said he very rarely went to Kendall and never to Benaroon Drive.

I made a plea of conveinience and I regret that I pleaded guilty to molesting the little girl.

He said he went out somewhere. The friends would have verified that to LE. But he can't remember exactly where.
Westport Club he thinks.
Or the pub at Wauchope? You'd think if he was interviewed by police in Australia's highest profile case he'd bloody well remember, or check with someone who did remember. His vagueness doesn't look good.

He also says his son had a grey Holden Astra sedan but the son was in Brisbane with the car.

And what a COINCIDENCE! The Astra has since been scrapped.

I see what Taylor meant on ACA about the lies and half truths.

Wow, we've had what, 3 articles in the space of a week? It's hard to keep up.

3 articles in a week but anything really relevant? Just the media keeping the story alive.

I think you may be right

Can anyone remind me if the FM was the only person to see the cars in the street?

William Tyrrell: Paedophile Paul Bickford denies being involved in abducting toddler
in 32 minutes
EXCLUSIVE Taylor AuerbachThe Daily Telegraph

PB recounted what he was doing on 12 Sept.
He and his wife had lunch with friend they were entertaining. Though, he struggled to recall the location.

We all suspect that his wife is backing him up on this [emoji35]
But what about the friends from lunch? What do they say? More birds or a feather? Did he conveniently forget which friends?

But even if the lunch date is true, William went missing in the MORNING. PB still could have made it to lunch that afternoon.

Well according to PB he and his wife are not POI ..... that's interesting, had it actually been said that she was?

if you were planning a child abduction the checklist would read like this..abductors waiting in street, ff away on skype call, fm inside, sister inside, gm out of view, house on one side empty, neighbour out at right time, little boy alone for 5 mins at 10.30

I've been researching possibilities regarding the sparse furnishings in the 'creepy house'. IDK where I read it but it was said that a house in Benaroon Drive was owned by partners who were contesting a divorce IIRC. I wonder if the 'creepy house' was part of the financial settlement and this was the reason for the urgent sale? If so, it's possible one partner was living in the house alone after the other had left or that a friend or family member of one of them was housesitting. Of course, that doesn't preclude anyone being a casual visitor to the house, for any reason or time period.

Has it ever been clarified where exactly TJ was supposed to be gathering scrap metal? Could that have actually been the plan, until he noticed something opportunistic? Is there an entrance to the sort of area he could get scrap metal from close to FG's house? I don't know anything about scrap metal or if anyone goes into the bush to get it..
