So one of the complainants is also involved in the nsw case aswell I just read.

The court heard some of the Victorian charges mirror those Spedding faces in NSW and involve one of the same complainants.

Mr O'Brien argued in the age of social media publication of the details of the Victorian charges against Spedding would lead to "perverse, unusual and bizarre results".

However, he also stated to the court that Spedding would apply to have that NSW trial permanently stayed in September.

He has never been charged in relation to William Tyrrell.
His lawyer will attempt to have some aspects of the Victorian charges suppressed because of a risk of prejudice, the Herald Sun reported.

Hillsley being implicated seems a little more difficult given he was sentence to 8 years in October 1984 with non parole of 4 years ..... being released December 1986.

The redacted charge sheets provided to the media did not specify the number of alleged victims.

The assaults are alleged to have occurred in Corio and Clarendon between 1983 and 1987.

That one sentence I was looking for some clarity.... and it gave none. Are the charges against 1 victim or more? From what I understand from earlier articles today, it is one victim, and the charges are from a time from when she is 2 to 6 years old. I wonder what other evidence they have besides her witness statement. Unless there are other victims and evidence, I don't call bull**** on the victim but I do on how the police have run this case. Angry for all parties concerned right now. Probably have to eat my words within the next few posts. MOOO

I think this was hashed and re-hashed on an earlier thread. From memory (but I'm not stating it as fact) they had the evidence but didn't proceed due to the age of the victims. Can someone help me out here?

Cases like this get moved up to a higher court - his first few appearances were in Campbelltown District (I think) and then moved to Supreme
