Court documents show Spedding faces two charges of sexually penetrating a child under 10 and five counts of indecent assault.

The redacted charge sheets provided to the media did not specify the number of alleged victims.

The assaults are alleged to have occurred in Corio and Clarendon between 1983 and 1987.

Well so far they are still unsubstantiated allegations, and from what I can glean from the redacted charge sheet so far, no new victims.

Police charged him on summons earlier this month.
His lawyer flagged the NSW stay application in the Ballarat Magistrates Court,
after the prosecution formally lodged new Victorian charges of sexual abuse against him.Spedding, 65, is facing seven charges of indecent assault children in Victoria between 1983 and 1987.

The court also heard Spedding is facing child abuse charges relating to the alleged abuse of two girls on Sydney's south-west in the 1980s.

Could be totally coincidental, but I think not. Seems family are quite divided, maybe I've got it wrong. Brendon with an "o" I think is not a common spelling of this name though.

I see your point with this quote that he travelled around. I can't confirm it but another member had a go at me once explaining that the caravan near Campbelltown was at the back of the residence he was already staying at. Sort of like an extra bedroom for a family that can't all fit in the one house. MOO

Yes, when he was 1st charge it was reported that the charges related to a weekend between March and April. That changed in many article to a general time frame between April and May. I thought it was you that posted the piece about when people are charge with a number of assaults, that it just has to fall within a certain time frame as if the victims recollection is proven incorrect on the time frame the whole case can be thrown out. MOO
