It's funny but I've read conflicting reports about this man. Some articles say he was asking for direction to near William's St, others say to William's street, some say he was at the local grocery store in Kendall, others say he was at local store in Kew. I know they got several stores in Kendall to keep their CCTV footage, and also the Tennis club which is just a little further up the road. I think the latter was for car identification. As for what he looks like or what he was wearing, no info...

'Police are still investigating a number of tips, including reports that a 'well-dressed, well-spoken' man stopped at a local shop on Friday morning to ask directions to Batar Creek Road, which leads to Benaroon Drive where William was last seen.

But there have been plenty of false leads.'

OT and FWIW, the rational part of my mind says that WT is gone, but I have dreamed twice being found, the most recent just before I woke this morning, I was shocked to see on the news the headline, William Tyrrell Recovered, which quickly brought me awake. Thought would share that here than with Jubelin.

I wonder why they needed to relocate to be near him? Perhaps he's young. If not, it's a bit odd...

I think it's odd to say say that if an adult son lives with his mother, 'it's a bit odd...'. My adult brother lives with our mother. Nothing odd about it.
And moving closer to your child, regardless of his/her age, happens a lot.
IMO it's of no importance.

If it's long term though? do you think long term male living with his mother is odd? i couldn't understand why someone would move to be close unless it's long term.

My brother has lived with our mother for over 25 years. Again, nothing odd.
Several other males of my acquaintance also live with their mothers - long term.

Everyone's circumstances are different. Generalisations don't achieve anything.

As I've previously said, I don't believe it is of any significance.

I have had dreams like this too where I wake up thinking I've read the headline that he has been found.

I think it's highly likely that William is deceased and a premature Coroner's investigation isn't going to provide the much-anticipated 'ammunition'. Rather, it may result in the very real prospect that William may never be recovered.

I think they have searched much more than we will ever know. We know of Middle Brother forest, Kendall forest, Queens Lake Conservation Area. But I recall reading a long time ago that they were doing searches of other undisclosed forest locations, too.

Maybe William has been moved to a few different 'scenes'?

But I query whether the costume would be conspicuous in a car; the T-shirt, being apparently blue, probably even less so. And if he was strapped into a baby seat he might scarcely be visible at all. You might think a baby seat is up there with grannies on skateboards, but it would keep him well restrained, and not flopping about or looking anything other than safely sleeping if it happened that he was lightly chloroformed.

what if william was grabbed as a favour to someone who felt they had a right to see him, and it was only supposed to be a quick visit then drop him back to g/mas/ ff but it all went wrong when william had an asthma attack?

I don't discount that at all, JLZ. As our hero says, 'I'm keeping an open mind.' — with the exceptions of William's foster parents and biological parents being involved in the investigation.

Not necassarily, Greg Bearup also added in that article that the FF had been rung when WT went missing and he raced home to help search. It has been ammended by him in other articles. As you can see in this article, there is no direct quote attributed to anyone for him to report such a thing. MOO

I can't find any reference to a specific public safety alert about this guy from LAC around that time though, froggy. Whether he was listed as a POI in William's disappearance, I don't know. The same with the large woman who was reported to be sitting in the black(?) car pulled over on Batar Creek Road. I remember reading that police had asked shopkeepers to keep their recorded CCTV and that's the last I ever heard of it.

I think William could have also been restrained and well-hidden if he was contained by the usual vehicle front passenger seat belt. He may have felt very important being 'allowed' to sit in a front seat. Especially if it was some kind of 'special' vehicle, not just a regular car.

I had often wondered, after that great article was written where the reporter walked Benaroon Drive with Jubelin, if they have some CCTV showing a vehicle with the passenger seat extended, but no person visible in the passenger seat.
