The push for a Coronial Inquest

IMO from reading through this thread and from research that I have done on some of GJ's other cases, a Coronial inquest would be too early. The coroner rejected the petition so that should tell the petitioners that the case is still active. GJ would have had to prove that in some way for the Coroner to state that and I am sure GJ did. A petition to try to force an Action was useless and doomed to fail in this case IMO. Some try to bring up the Morcombe case for comparison but you can't IMO. We don't know GJ's full investigation and we shouldn't although as WS's we would like to. I have read posts where people have made comments that they have not made any/much progress lately. Well, IMO GJ is on to something, like a dog with a bone. He knows a lot more than we do and he will be holding some cards very close to his chest. I agree with others on here that feel as though he knows who is involved. We must give the investigation as much time as it needs, to come to conclusion and for GJ to catch and bring them to justice. The time taken to defend the reasons why one is not justified right now is time taken away from the active case JMOO.

You could go to the same court the day before and see his brother

Ok - After reading through this entire case thread IMO William was abducted by car out of the area to somewhere. We know the families are not involved. My first question is: In Williams case, what are we determining is 'family' when the police state that? Are they saying for e.g. Bio Mum & Dad only or does that extention of 'family' include close family like NC? I guess I feel a little hazy about the A Current Affair interview. I must state that IMO NC looks like a distraught grandmother who does not know anything and I am not suggesting that she knows anything. What I am trying to get across is, an extended family member like an uncle or aunt or cousin. Would we consider them family when police state that they have ruled out family in connection to Williams disappearance?

:welcome:

From memory DI Jubelin only stated that the Bio and Foster Parents were cleared. IMO this does not include any and all extended family on either side.

Your memory is correct, sleep:

(09:58) Reporter:

'Mr Jubelin, on the subject of William's foster care, have you been able to rule out involvement by the foster family or the natural family in his disappearance?'

(10:08) DCI Jubelin:

'The simple answer to that, yes. I'm standing here saying I have ruled out the foster carer parents and I have ruled out the biological parents as being involved in this investigation.'

Welcome GT. My only hope that William is alive and relatively safe and healthy is that he has been kidnapped by someone he is attached to.

Thanks for the welcome!!
That would be the best outcome for this case and was why I wanted the opinion of others about the clarification of 'family'. It is possible and therefore I can hold onto a little hope that he is safe and still alive. William would not look like the little spiderman in the pictures anymore after 3 years. I can't stop thinking that if he were alive somewhere, they may attempt to enroll him in the upcoming school year in grade one. However, I am a realist and do understand the enrollment identification process being a mum myself. I had to homeschool one of my children via a distant education facility/school of the air and the process was a lot harder then a normal school enrollment so the chances would be slim. GJ would be watching too!

My pleasure. It would be the best outcome when you think of the alternatives, although not ideal. If William is alive, whoever is hiding him, whether extended ‘family’ or not, is doing a damn good job of it. I doubt if someone would take the chance of enrolling him in school, unless he was living under an assumed identity.

Also, I agree with you about the timing of an inquest.

Here's hoping 2018 brings William home.

I just can't shake the feeling that once BS has been through his trials, there will be some movement on this case.

I don’t believe in coincidences like this.

Detectives also questioned Kim Loweke (pictured), who is best friends with William's grandmother Natalie Collins, over her whereabouts on the day the three-year-old went missing.
Ms Loweke also has personal links with Tony Jones and Spedding - two accused paedophiles that were both named as persons of interest in the case.
Ms Loweke admitted that the set of coincidences were strange, but denied having anything to do with William Tyrrell's disappearance.
'I was thinking about how the situation is so weird, it is weird. I can't work it out, me minds going a hundred miles an hour going what's going on,' she told ACA.
'I don't know why my name's come up in the situation I seriously don't know,' she said, trailing off with laughter.

Ms Collins was angry with police !?!
There’s that 6 degrees again....and again.....yet again.

Ms Collins said it was 'disgusting' that police had questioned her best friend and cast doubt over the pair's intentions with requesting a new home.
'That's just disgusting, I'm sorry, because like I wouldn't hide him. Like Kim said it would be good if we could find him, we would hand him over anyway,' she said.

Thanks bearbear but wasn't there a full shot of him showing his legs sitting on the swing? I remember thinking that this photo made him look older by the length of his legs. For some reason when I first saw this photo, he looked older to me then 3yo. JMO but I was a little shocked and I seem to recall that this photo was shown on this thread after some time. Where did it come from and was this a family photo does anyone know? It just does not seem like a natural pose that a mum for eg would take a photo of - holding the ropes - maybe but hands behind the head? I don't know why but when I saw this picture it reminded me of those two creeps that adopted and raised that little boy (Cairns?), posed and photographed him and took him round the world. (sorry to talk about those sickos) . Maybe and I hope, I am totally off track and this was just an awkward family photo. I don't seem to remember anyone discussing this photo much, just the location on the shirt and then the discussion about the erection of Where's William advertising on the sunshine coast. Maybe it was around the time I joined WS in 2016 as I wanted to discuss it but then I was on the move. Does anyone else find this pic a little off or is it just me?
