One of the parts of her story that made me sit up and take extra notice - with relation to the vicinities of Spedding's alleged offences, a possible pedo ring, and passing children off to other men (and little William, unfortunately :( ) - was this:

I witnessed child sex trafficking between Sydney, Wollongong, Bathurst, and Canberra.
I witnessed multiple acts of child abduction, drugging, child sexual assault, torture and murder.

We have a very dear friend who was an orphan in a catholic boy’s home and because he was a pretty boy he went through similar hell. He can name the names of world celebrities to Crown solicitors, the names would render you breathless.
His friend, who also experienced this, stood up for the royal commission and encouraged our friend to do the same. Only now is he getting the support he’s lacked all these years.

And then what happens to these named perpetrators? Why do we not hear of what they have done? Why do we not hear if they are facing criminal charges, or are jailed?
One priest I read about sexually abused every single child under his care! Every single one of them. As if it was some badge of honour. They make me sick.

One of those early articles.

Police Superintendent Paul Fehon confirmed the homicide squad and State Crime Command were leading the investigation.

He told reporters in Port Macquarie the Speddings were not biological relatives of William Tyrell, who has a complicated family history.

Local police, forensics officers and sex crimes officers have been involved in the investigation........................

Washing machine repairer Bill Spedding and his wife Margaret told Nine News they had nothing to do with the disappearance of the toddler, and are trying to stay strong for each other and their family.

Not bio relatives .... :thinking::thinking:
But maybe related in a somewhat complicated way.

Wow what a curious statement to print.
It’s got me thinking too soso

That 6 degrees?

You think maybe it is a story she told Ole Col and his wife ... something they might believe, if they are inclined that way?

I do .i really think its fabricated

There is some pretty horrific stuff out there. When I was looking up some Ballarat stuff the other day, during Bill Spedding's time of alleged Victorian offences, I stumbled across this.

Fiona Barnett alleges Bathurst City Hall was a traditional venue for paedophile orgies during the 1970s and 1980s.

ETA: Just want to add that this lady's very sad story originates from what she divulged to the Royal Commission. The commission were in tears hearing her story. :( :( :(

My god that was hard to read

This case really interests me hey. How did someone driving down a no exit street simply take this kid so easily>? Was it a tradesperson? A local? What on earth happened here.

Yes. Very hard. I can see why the commission were in tears. But it is probably better that we be aware of these things that happen. We can only help and protect if our eyes are open wide.

There is a documentary already filmed and waiting to be released which our friend will be in. I think his face will be covered.
I doubt in this doco any names will be revealed.
I’d like to know what the royal commission will be doing with this information.....the victims have received money already and now another (huge) chunk will be released later this year.

He’s told the information a zillion times now and just wants to forget it all. I doubt he could endure court against multi-billionaires.

That is interesting. Margaret may (or may not) be a woman of many lies, and manipulation.

Seems like the poor victims should have an advocate that can appear in court for them. Tell their under-oath story. But then I guess the defence needs the opportunity to question the victims, so that probably wouldn't work.

I wish we all knew. One day hopefully we will...

The sobs of William's foster mum just broke my heart, in the ACA interview, when she was thinking about what may have happened to him.

Yep very hard to read & I have no idea how everyone who was involved in the Royal Commission listened day in & day out ( I really hope they are all looking after their own Mental Health)............but actually living it ..........I have no words.....very brave people!!!

Well, no one remembered seeing him, from memory. Hence, he wanted people to go through their pictures and see if they had one with him in it. And the school principal would not comment on whether he was there or not. Funny that, he could have cleared him in just a few words .. put all the adverse publicity to rest. And perhaps stopped all of Spedding's property from being ripped apart, and some confiscated for forensic testing.

After all, the cafe worker made her public comments ... "I recognise him but haven't seen him in a while".

Margaret may have been there, and probably was. I think he just tacked onto her activities that morning, even though he did not participate in them (imo).

Somehow convinced her that she needed to say he was with her, because he was elsewhere - not on Benaroon Drive  - and couldn't prove it.

.

I don’t believe for a moment that he went to the school. The principal could have simply said, yes he was there, people sitting next to him, behind him, grandchildren, and not one saw him. If even one person remembered him, he had a water tight alibi and would never have become a POI.
Lying to the police is a really bad idea.

That alibi would only be water tight if he can prove he had no involvement at all, with the abduction, police have never said whether or not Spedding was verified as being there at the time have they.

Our friend lived 55 yrs suppressing his memories. Many years ago he shared with us what happened and we admire his strength. This is the reason he is morbidly obese, I mean HUGE and since having to face these nightmares again we see him now depressed. He is getting help but still everything has resurfaced.
He just wants to forget it all again.

Pedophiles do not belong here.
They should be eliminated.
Harsh? Unforgiving? Yes but so are they.

I shared quite some time ago my husbands experience as a little boy in only grade three at the hands of a disgusting paedophile school teacher. The court case 20 plus years later was harrowing for him. You never get over it. The perpetrator got 2 years in prison. There were 6 victims . He is dead now .

I imagine no amount of help would never be enough......:-(

Only last week one of my school teachers was arrested on sexual assault charges........going back to the 80's :tantrum::gaah:
