Cousin in law to Margaret. Related by marriage.

Margaret Spedding is Youngberry’s wife’s cousin.

Ole Col was one of the best bit-players in this case. Him and his flapping mouth.

We have discussed this countless times in the past .... do you not think that Spedding would be shouting it from the hilltops if he was cleared?

That is not what i asked, and i certainly wasn't the one that resurrected this discussion again. Just my 2cents worth, FWIW.

I have seen LE every now & again clear a POI in America, but do they also do that in Aus.?
I think in the Caliyah McNabb case they cleared the mother only to later arrest her with involvement of her baby's death. So there is no telling really with clearing a POI or not IMO.
Yes that's interesting as I recall police saying early on in the Baden clay case that Gerard was not a suspect, although we all know now he was poi number 1 from the get go. All strategic I suppose

Yes and I would be sure there would be a big fat huge defamation case if he was.

But hey what do I know, I'm the little old lady that spies through her curtains and dobs all the neighbours in.

Right, and i am wondering in this case also if things might be strategic? and things are not what they seem?

Only once he is cleared or not i would think? He still has a Trial to go through yet.

I made those comments because that is my opinion. It is what I believe. And I think, by Jubelin's intimations that he believes that, too. He has interviewed Margaret with regard to this case. I just posted the link, here it is again ...

Hours later, after he and his wife Margaret finished being interviewed by the police, they chose not to go home to face the waiting camera crews. Instead they spent the night at the home of a friend and relative, Colin Youngberry.

To me, that says that they want info from her. Perhaps confirmations that they could believe. However, they still have not taken Spedding off the POI list. He still ranks up there. Perhaps they are not convinced by her 'confirmations'. Neither am I.

As part of his alibi, she is very near the coalface.

.

Maybe I'm thick. Thanks for explaining why you think it's valid to make those comments about her. You believe that Jubelin is intimating that he believes MS is complicit in her husbands crime, therefore you have the right to imply it too on this forum. That is why I need clarity from the mod, cause where it is as clear as day to you, it has always looked like victim bashing to me. With the amount of POI that have been looked at now, I don't think you can justify expressing her personal knowledge etc of
WT's disappearance.

New South Wales police say they have eliminated hundreds of suspects as they continue to investigate the disappearance of toddler William Tyrrell, who went missing three years ago today. I
Since then, police have identified almost 700 persons of interest, conducted hundreds of interviews and gathered more than 4,000 pieces of evidence but are no trace of William has ever been found.

.....and she isn't one of them in MSM

So true. Like hair on a gorilla she’s everywhere.
Ol’Mags was at the coffee shop and the school, IIRC ‘twas her who knew how that little Spider-Man toy got in the van just to keep him company(?) & she might know whose shirt that Plummer found in the drain.

That Spider-Man toy. The boys in their care imo were to old for Spider-Man toys. Who was the supposed child that gave it to him to "keep him company"

A trial that is NOT about William

Yes, she knows about all these things that could be related to the case.

Detectives questioned Spedding’s wife Margaret about where the toy came from and she reportedly told them it was given to her husband by one of the children they cared for.

“(The child) left it in the van for (Mr Spedding) to keep him company when he was driving,” the Daily Telegraph reported.
Mrs Spedding said she believed the toy got police attention because of the costume he was wearing when he went missing.
