Well, she was evidently buoyed by the news .....

A few months ago, Youngberry reveals, *Margaret Spedding went to a clairvoyant. He says he’s heard the tape recording of the conversation. Margaret asked the clairvoyant if her husband had been involved in any way in William’s disappearance. The clairvoyant reassured her he hadn’t. “That made her feel good,”

His wife Margaret is critical to his alibi in the William Tyrrell case, claiming they were drinking coffee together at a café in Laurieton, 10-minutes from Kendall, at the time.
They claim to have then visited Laurieton Public School to see their grandson in a school presentation, before Spedding went on to a job at Dunbogan.

MS is critical to his alibi ...not the clairvoyant though Col...

Wonder if any of that ever checked out, because i'm sure police would have verified it all in their investigation of BS?

I have no idea how old the children in their care, nor have i seen it stated anywhere in MSM?

No you won't see it is MSN.

Sure they did, hence him not being cleared as poi

Does anyone know what the legal definition of a POI (Person Of Interest) exactly means in Australia? I couldn't really find anything about that on my web search? Very vague the whole thing. There is plenty about it on the American sites though, and the legal definition of POI.

I believe that we were discussing, and supplying references, for things that have been mentioned in MSM. These are allowed.

Talk about Spedding's wife - with Spedding being named as a POI and currently up on historical child sex charges - seems very valid to me. Especially when we have heard over and over .....

From Bravehearts: "Somebody out there knows something and we hope that somebody is brave enough to come forward and let the police know," she said.
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2015-09-...t-suspected-william-tyrrell-kidnapper/6771350

From Jubelin: "That information might be in the form of someone that has concerns about someone they know. Someone within their family [and] the way they react when William Tyrrell's name is mentioned."
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-09-...rrell-still-missing-after-three-years/8893910

Mr Spedding is understood to have told police that, at the time the toddler disappeared, he was having coffee with his wife in nearby Laurieton.
http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/william-h...iam-tyrell-investigation-20150121-12v4n3.html

They allege his wife Margaret, who supported him in court from the public gallery, contacted one of the alleged victims by text shortly after he was arrested and said: “It really saddens me you’re involved in this.”

I could go on and on with links about her, and references to family members that may know something about the perp and his guilt.. She has been named a kazillion times in MSM. She is not a victim here, not one of William's family or caregivers, she is a POIs wife ... who is involved in his alibi. An alibi that is likely not valid imo.

We speak of everybody else that is named in MSM with regard to this case. Kim Loweke, Natalie Collins (who is a victim), Karlie (who is a victim), Brendan (who is a victim), Anthony Jones .... etc etc etc. She has also tried to influence a victim in Spedding's historical charges.
Is Margaret singled out for some special treatment?

Just quickly, before I head out to work, this sentence stood out to me. What is the law irt influencing a victim (intimidating a witness?) in an upcoming criminal trial? I would’ve thought there’d be a penalty for this, unless the law applies only to the accused and not their family or associates.

It occurs to me that the ‘someone who knows something’ would be in a position of power over the person who abducted, and presumably, murdered William. Equally, they could be at real risk of harm by the perpetrator. People and their allegiances change over time, whatever their relationship. Geez, I’d sleep with one eye open if I was in that situation. An uneasy alliance.

That's what my understanding was.
So i'm just wondering why the toy had so much significance? A grandchild putting it in the car sounds reasonable maybe..??
If William didn't have one at time of going missing and there was no DNA found on the one in BS van..why is it such a focal point?
Is it because its Spidey and William was dressed as Spidey at the time?
Could the toy be a moot point?
TIA for your responses. Just trying to understand the "under current" of the investigation..

I would assume that BS having a Spider-Man toy in his car was a point of interest to investigators because it could have been used as a tool to lure William to his car. "Hey Spidey, come say hi to my friend Spidey". or "Hey Spidey, want a friend to play with? He looks just like you."

This scenario would mean that BS already knew William was dressed as Spider-Man and had brought the toy along on that morning. That would mean he would have had to of seen him earlier that day dressed up. Doesn't seem likely to me. Just a coincidence IMO.
BS really is an unlucky fellow if he's innocent [emoji848]

Imo he wasnt murdered.

I’m not 100% convinced of that either (I currently sit at about 80% deceased, 20% still living) but I don’t like to think about a worst case scenario if he is still living. I said ’presumably’ because of the fact that it was stated he was ‘probably deceased’ as the reason that his in-care status could be revealed in MSM.

Yeah, the ‘unluckiest washing machine repairman in the world’. *sarcasm font selected* I feel for him. Trooly.

It was interesting how long that piece of info took to hit MSM though, although I recall several WS members knew about it for some time. It was hushed up as far as the public for a while though. It has never sat well with me. It just seems a little too convenient. I'm not really that interested in MS's story as to how it got there. What did BS have to say? Nothing we have ever been told.

I picturing a scenario more along the lines of " hi love, yep I've got him, seems he is into spiderman, do you want to get him a toy to keep him quiet "
Something like that anyway.

Maybe one of the mistakes Sarah Yule spoke of (see my post a little while back for her take on the perp/abduction).

People sure seemed (still seem?) to do a lot of talking for him.

We have discussed this countless times in the past .... do you not think that Spedding would be shouting it from the hilltops if he was cleared?

I would have thought it would have featured in the famous video at the very least.

Stop with the references to the videos. I’m starting to get flashbacks :D

Remember the way the 'S' disappeared from the 'Spedos' on Spedding's van? As if some people in that area wanted to aggravate him and let others know he is accused of pedo activities?

It is possible, I think, that someone also threw the spiderman toy into his van - if he left it unlocked - because they wanted to say to him 'we know what you did'.

I guess it depends when the spiderman toy was discovered. Was it discovered during an immediate initial search of Spedding's vehicle (was there an immediate initial search? One would think so. Perhaps around the time they searched all the houses and vehicles in the immediate area, and maybe any other vehicle that could have been in the area that day).

Or was it found in the later, more thorough, forensic examination?

They seized three vehicles, including a work van owned by the whitegoods repair man, computers, documents and a mattress.

I think Margaret was likely grasping at straws to explain the toy, probably didn't know where it came from, as she spoke for Spedding yet again.
