Breaking out the rosary beads today — for William and all those who truly love him, as well as DCI Jubelin and the members of Strike Force Rosann. All I can do is pray that William will be found and that he hasn’t come to harm.
How much information would KT be privy to? Obviously she would not know ever single aspect of the investigation, but the FF would be informed of things along the way, would KT know as much as they do?

I believe the police are slowly closing in on the person responsible. Just building their case with all the circumstanial evidence ( in the hope other more damaging evidence will come to light. I think the media is a pivotal tool in their investigation. Eg : applying pressure, create outside stress on the main POI’s relationship. I think the police are specifically
Directing their pleas to MS - since she is critical to his alibi. I can’t get past why ms would visit a psychic to ask if “Bs was involved”?! if she was with him during the times WT disappearance. Along with all the other coincidences surrounding him
Deleting his phone log on that particular day.
No evidence to suggest they attended the school. I truly don’t believe police would exhaust so many resources on one search. Without good reason.
It’s him JMO
He had a reason to be in that street
He can’t 100 % verify he’s whereabouts
He has the history going by the historical cases. I would also like to hear the historical verdicts from a reliable source. Not just rumours.
Yes, I wouldnt take the word from anyone involved with BSWell, we all know stuff that is being said on SM that simply is not true. I, too, would like to hear some verified truths. And IF the Supreme Court argument that is about to ensue is about suppression of the girls story or outcome ... I hope that the media win.

Family or friends. Most people close to these types of offenders, had no idea.
It’s not unusual to be found not guilty on some charges - and guilty on other lesser charges
Does that count as a win?
I’ve heard it’s very difficult to prosecute historical charges in general. Perhaps the police knew there wasn’t a very high chance of conviction?? But, still went ahead trying to get justice for the victims and also helped apply pressure to their poi
It would give the police the ideal scenario to be able to monitor his behaviour or both the poi and his significant other eg: their relationship! Their strengths and weaknesses whilst gather intel under duress.
The police would be using behavioural science as part of their tactics
What you say makes a lot of sense, and I completely agree with it all.
For sure the police will be using profilers, psychologists and other professionals to try to achieve the best result in William's case that is possible to achieve.
A police psychologist is trained in psychology, public safety and law enforcement. They do everything from participating in criminal investigations to performing psychological autopsies to interviewing suspects.

One would wonder if she cut herself off from the information flow when she started supporting APS (or APS started supporting her) - especially all the court stuff - and when she went on TV with her heart wrenching but somewhat accusatory story. And police would be privy to all the social media stuff that is going on. I am sure they are monitoring lots of stuff out there, trying to find their way to an arrest and to find William.
As well, the welfare and safety of the FF and their/her daughter would rank pretty highly, I would think.
Until then she would have had some rights to know a few things, as far as I can tell.
Your rights as a birth parent
While your child's safety and welfare must come first, you still have the right to:
- apply to the Childrens Court to appeal the order placing your child or children in care
- be told where your child is unless Community Services believes that this information would harm the safety, welfare and wellbeing of your child or their carer
- be given information about your childs carer unless Community Services believes this would harm the safety, welfare and wellbeing of your child or the safety of the carer and their family
- be informed of your childs progress and development during their placement
- ask Community Services for services which could help your child to return to your care.

I’m just wondering what makes her believe William is still alive.
I always assumed the police saying they believe he is still alive was to get the public attention more focused on doing their bit to help, whatever that might involve.

I think it may be hope, more than anything concrete. Hope is the one thing that people have left to cling on to, when something so horrifically terrible happens in their lives.
William Tyrrell's foster family is maintaining hope of finding the Sydney boy alive three years after he disappeared, believing a renewed national appeal for information might deliver him back into their arms.
"William, we will never stop loving you," they said in a statement on Monday.
"We will never stop looking for you."

MADELEINE McCanns parents arent the only ones who are holding out hope their missing daughter is still alive. Her school is too.

For parents of the missing, does hope spring eternal?
This is the life of a parent who has seen every side of his child's tragedy laid bare for the public: The panic, the hope, the feelings of resignation and the never-ending quest for answers.
For the families of missing children, there is always a hope, no matter how small.

Interesting train of thought, Violet. Can you recall any contemporary alleged child murder cases where the NSW Homicide Squad has employed this method of eliciting information from the public?
Not off the top of my head, but my reasoning for thinking that, is because the police reach out to the public for help, saying William could still be alive puts more of an urgency on the appeals IMO not to mention justifying the record breaking reward amount - families of other missing people asked the government why WT is more of a priority than their missing family members who do not have rewards on offer of that amount.

Oh I see. So you think DCI Jubelin and members of Strike Force Rosann have evidence that William is most likely deceased but are holding that back in order to elicit information from the public and solve the case before it goes before the NSW Coroner? I wasnt aware that the families of other missing children had an issue with the amount of the reward, the protection from prosecution and anonymity offered to anyone who came forward with information about Williams alleged abduction held that view. I suppose I can understand why they would feel that way if they also believe William is, in actual fact, deceased.
Unfortunately, the actual police appeals seem to be happening annually these days ... the last one being 8 months ago.
Makes me feel that the sense of urgency is gone, while the resilience to apprehend the perpetrator is still very much there.
I can’t see them believing he is alive if they’re going with the theory that it was a lone wolf, opportunistic & all but ruled out a pedophile ring.
I’m not sure about evidence, but surely if he had met with someone like BS or AJ, they wouldn’t have him stashed away somewhere & I think with ruling out the pedophile ring, that ruled out BS grabbing him & bundling him off to dunbogan to hand over to someone else, maybe he was taken there, alone, & never left.
Whoever it was, wherever they took William, I don’t believe the little lad survived very long, or was taken anywhere after that, I believe he is still exactly where he was hidden or disposed of on the 12 of September 2014.
