Who thinks the police strategically
charged BS with historicals?! - in the hope it would make BS crack ( or ms) under police and public pressure with information regarding William! Even though police have stated it’s not related.
I believe it most definitely is now!! I was sceptical of this before, that police would use these types of tactics.
I couldn’t imagine SFR wasting resources and time attending his arrest and court proceedings, if they believed BS wasn’t involved with Williams disappearance. JMO
When will this end ?! IS there any update on BS Victorian charges?

Police did this with John Chardon. Got him on 'historical' (older) child sex charges - for which he was convicted ... older children, better recall, and not so long ago - while they were gathering evidence to arrest him for the murder of his wife, Novy.

It took a long while, but they achieved it. The murder trial starts very soon. Or, at least, the committal hearing is in two weeks time.

Novy has never been found. :(

Thank you South Aus
I’m not familiar with this case.
Will read up on it.
It makes complete sense to use this type of tactic.
Bring up former crimes whilst, building on they’re current case against the POI
Imo It reaffirms my belief that BS is definitely responsible for Williams Disappearance.
It angers me sometimes to think a partner/Spouse could sit back and deliberately withhold information.

Was he even on bail for the Victorian charges?

Spedding, 65, is facing seven charges of indecent assault children in Victoria between 1983 and 1987.
Police charged him on summons earlier this month.
On Thursday, the magistrate excused Spedding, who lives in regional NSW, from appearing in person.

What happens after the police have interviewed me?
The police may:
• release you from custody without charging you
• release you from custody but charge you later. The police will serve your charges through a summons
• release you from custody and give you a notice to appear. You will have to go to court within 14 days
• charge you but release you on bail
• charge you and keep you in custody until the court is open for a magistrate to decide if you will be released on bail.

I have been looking and looking to find info about this ... in similar cases. It seems that maybe he could not be on two sets of bail, one was sufficient, and that way the bail conditions would not conflict - as long as they were adequate for the charges.

Remember they were going to vary his bail conditions so that he could appear in Victoria?

I wonder if those bail conditions sort of transfer to be administered by Victorian courts now. I wish I could find more info about it so I could understand how it works.

I can't get in to view this, unless I get a free membership and logon to their site. With limited time at the moment, are you able to provide a snapshot of what it says? TIA

Sorry SA, KT appeared in court blaming her behaviour on an anxiety attack. The case was adjourned again until the end of May. She was filmed outside court hand in hand with a male supporter.

Thanks, Morrisa. The saga continues then ....... surely it has to be adjudicated soon. So many delays. I guess it keeps her out of jail though, at least for the moment.

Same SA.
Could not find anything either.

Spedding's NSW bail includes reporting and residency conditions which will need to be varied for him to attend Ballarat, the court was told.

"It's appropriate this matter follows the conclusion of the matter in New South Wales," the barrister said........

Magistrate Ronald Saines said it was unusual, but he would adjourn the case to further committal mention at a date to be fixed.

Unusual -
Has - anything been usual?

It was an exclusive by the bio GM
I personally don’t put much credence
In anything she’s told the media.
She’s not a reliable source.

I agree, she probably had no idea of his age IMO

I’ve studied other cases over the years with men accused of abusing children. Majority of the women stand by their men!!
Case example : Paul Bickfords wife refuses to believe in his guilt even after being found guilty. I agree with you on some parts - I think the main factor would be fear.
Fear of the unknown or judgment from the public.
I honestly believe whoever is responsible of taken William, someone close to that individual/s knows or has deep suspicions that person/s is involved..... but fear or judgment is holding them back from coming forward.
The only way their coming forward is if
Their loved one has cheated ( scorned women ) senario? Or someone passes away!

yep, I understand your comments Truth, and I do agree.. is it perhaps something in the unwritten 'stand by my man' mantra that women seem to be compelled to live by ??

However, and IMO, if we explore further, I do believe it is all fuelled by 'fear'.

There are answers out there for William -

Yes, I agree … fear.

Fear of:

Being alone
Feeling stupid because you married a child sex offender/murderer
Being economically poorer
Disrupting/upsetting your family and friends
Perhaps changing your family dynamics and friendships
What will happen to you next
Being found out that you yourself lied to cover for them, you wanted to believe them.

Please stop the negative speculation about Margaret. There is nothing to indicate that she has any knowledge of any crime involving William, and I don't believe there is any MSM or LE source to indicate the alibi provided BS is not true.

If / when any of the above changes, we will revisit at that time.

Was it the 4th of may that BS due in court in his case against the news publications
