I noticed some things on an awards page last night where CS was mentioned, is all.

I am not sure why it is being mentioned. I think it flowed on from the photos on the wall post. I don't think it has anything at all to do with William's case, no matter who did the artwork.
I found where she was mentioned but I think it's just because she's an artist working in the same geographical area. Not indigenous as far as I know.

Three of the children who had been living with him and his wife have since been removed, The Daily Telegraph can reveal.
Pretty sure there were only 3 children.

There could have been just 3 grandchildren, but more 'children' ... as in there could have been one of their own sons or someone else's son living with them for a while.
I recall seeing a pic with youngsters and an older (but not old) male at one time, and I think it was at the Spedding residence.

Okay, if you know that better and have a reliable source. No reliance on the expression of the journalists, it seems. ;)

Yes, maybe that is how I got the impression. (I definitely don't think she is indigenous herself.)
Yes she is IMO ,very much so .i can’t link or anything like that but I do think she is or has indigenous genes , imo of course .

Really, CS? You don't mean SB?
Can we please just use names to help out old ladies like me? Or are the people being discussed against TOS. TIA

I don't think we can rely on much that MSM prints, I tend to only pay attention to what is quoted by those who know, eg police.

I think we'd still be on Thread One here, if that is what we all did.

I think you could be right

The mother said her child was removed from her home by FACs because of a domestic situation. She has turned her house into a shrine to the lost child.

The child’s room is untouched and she has not taken the Christmas tree down since the child was removed early in 2011.

She and her new partner were surprised to learn Mr Spedding was a person of interest in the investigation into the missing toddler.

We’re for Sydney | Daily Telegraph

This article always confused me. Why a shrine for the lost child? Wouldn't it be for the lost children?
Maybe there was another child (her child) that had lived with the Speddings at some time before the raids and the removal of the three children.

I recall it being said by BS's son that they had taken children in over the years.

I think the main problem, for me, at least, is that SM and MSM seems to get confusing after so long, I tend to forget where I saw it.
I agree it can be confusing at times.

To be fair Karinna, GW asked me for evidence to prove his guilt.

So I'm not allowed to have an opinion?
You certainly are allowed to have your opinion Sleep, and from my perspective, it's very much appreciated.

Also from my perspective - this is a highly emotive subject. We're all here due to concern for this little boy. We want him safe. We feel the pain of all those who knew him, particularly those involved in his creation & upbringing.

We're passionate about solving his disappearance, and bringing to serve their rightful justice those with even the smallest part in his removal or in covering or hiding things that may point to those responsible. ..

IMO, with Passion comes a whole set of other emotions. I would make a personal plea & reminder of our unity through a common goal. . . that we remember & account for individual personalities & feelings, and that we Pause before we Press those keys, that we think carefully & considerately & respectfully in choosing our words.

There are many opinions that I don't feel aligned to, just as much as there are many that I do, however I genuinely appreciate & value the variety of opinions put forward by my fellow members. Many times I have to sit back & reflect on something that had never before occurred to me - and I'm grateful for those new insights.

Thank you all for your facts, opinions & debates, for the new information & the reminders of old, for bringing things together, for breaking it down, for your sense of humour, for your amazing skills, your vast knowledge, your problem solving, your ability to think both in & out if the box, for your care & compassion & my colleague in thus venture.

I know we all hope each day for news of William's location & I'm also confident that we'll kindly support each other in our journey towards helping that cause in any way we can.

I believe I recall some Websleuthers at least entertaining the thought that the spiderman in Spedding's van belonged to William. That was years ago. More recently we wondered whether the spiderman had never been William's but was acquired and retained as a reminder of him, as if it were a trophy. There was another theory that the spiderman was planted by one of the grandchildren as an accusation.

BBM: I think this is why I also thought that the shirt in the pipe might have been a trophy, that then needed to be disposed of.

But apparently there is no connection to William via the shirt, as stated in the link a poster provided earlier.

Imo things were ramping up. Dg kc tj jg.....were friendly right up until late dec 2017. Moo imo. What could have happened between then and mid Feb 2018? Moo imo.

Am I correct that DG lives close by Kendall. ..
wonder who Jubes was referring to as 'the person of interest who lived nearby'

BBM, How would she know that the Spedding's had her child in their care? After she seen about BS on T.V.
Didn't think FACS gave that information to bio's as to where their children are and with whom?

I think it may have been a 'family' placement, in which case I think it would be known - just my thoughts.

Also, I know of a foster situation, but that child had holiday time with family members & the foster Carer communicated with them (no relationship prior to the placement)

<modsnip: snipped post that was removed>

New South Wales police will not confirm a newspaper report they found a Spider-Man toy in the work van of William "Bill" Spedding, a person of interest in the case of missing child William Tyrrell.

It has been almost nine months since William, 3, disappeared from his grandmother's home at Kendall, near Port Macquarie on the NSW mid-north coast.

News Corp is reporting that when detectives were searching 63-year-old Spedding's work van during investigations into William's disappearance, they found a Spider-Man doll...............

A statement from NSW Police said: "NSW Police Force cannot comment on this ongoing investigation other than to continue to appeal for any information that may assist with the case."

Spider-Man toy 'found in van belonging to person of interest' in William Tyrrell case

All hearsay. Until we hear that information from the police.
All we can do is mull it over.

I am curious if the third car was ever returned.

Three cars were seized and towed away from the property yesterday and are being examined by forensic experts for any links to the three-year-old who has been missing for more than four months.

Three cars .... I think they may be these vehicles?
Which vehicle do you think may have been retained for a longer period of time? May still be in the police compound?

I wonder if we can tell from the chronology of the posted pics (if we can tell when the pics were taken). It might give us some indication of which vehicle Spedding may have been using on the day that William went missing.

As well, I guess having 3 vehicles may dispel any ideas that Margaret could not drive? Could not have driven herself to the cafe/school assembly. Could not have taken care of the grandchildren by herself ... driven them to their school and sporting events.
