Do you wear specs?

And vice versa lol. Really!
Yeah but I think I'm slightly faceblind.

Yes and vice versa but as PS says he was in the street and BS insists he was elsewhere and as far as we know the alibi's unconfirmed, it's perhaps more likely that a claimed spotting of BS would be the one challenged. Rightly or wrongly.

"Really"--what?

We’re for Sydney | Daily Telegraph

Mrs Wilson 30 Benaroon had heard the children playing before she left to run errands. No one at home at time.

Marion Dalton at 21 Benaroon. Did not have coffee on her front verandah as she usually did. Doesn't say she wasn't home at time.

Anne Maree Sharpley lived over the road from 48 now moved. Dont know number. She was one reading book inside and was on her way to sit outside when FM appeared. She had busy morning running kids to school.

Lyndene Heslop was the one unloading shopping from her vehicle. Dont know no.

All above names have been detailed in various msm articles.

Mr Savage lived next door to the address where the 2 vehicles were parked on street and witnessed by FM.

His house sits down in a 'valley' so I dont know what he could see from there.

Possibly he was witness to seeing the two cars that day

Tyrrell search zone uncovers new information

Photo 8 gives the birds eye view how packed with vehicles Benaroon was on day of new search 27 June 2018.

The command post was placed in the most suitable place and out of the way for residents to access the street. And it was opposite Mr Savage's house and on a cnr near a vacant block!

May have but may not have. He did say recently he walked up to the track on a regular basis so he may have seen something there. He also said he checked that area 1st on day.

She said her husband was not at home. She is quoted as saying that in the article I linked!

It's Mrs Wilson who said, "I wasn't home and my husband wasn't home."

That they look alike and Mr Savage could be identified as being BS.

That is exactly why police and prosecutors proceed with extreme caution with regard to witness identification statements.

I am confused.
If PS has any significant info. You would think he would have received his letter indicating he was require to turn up ...on and at....

Is he a person of interest or a person with an interest?

Possibly, but that doesn't explain why he has leave to "appear" and so has representation. Presumably there will be a number of other witnesses called, and none of them are on that basis--at least yet--except for the foster parents and Mr Spedding, and I think FACS.

And that was mostly recently so its obvious he has the impression of his importance on the day. Give him a bit of leeway he is an old fella. His knowledge of the day is very important.

From back in 2014 he had said his accounts of the day. He was one of the first to look. He walked that track everyday, he thought the odd loner moves away because he got scared of the police presence. Hmmmm, is he maybe throwing a bit of shade onto the loner ? Just throwing some ideas about.

It wasn't an occasion for giving evidence. Yes, he would have received a letter, and it appears he got in touch with the court beforehand and explained his circumstances--his lawyer being presently unavailable and whatever his limitations were regarding travelling--and got approval to appear by conference call. If the court had said that wasn't appropriate, he might have had to book a hotel or something. He didn't just wag it.

We don't know how many people are on the basis of leave to appear. Others may have advised the Counsel Assisting of their intent to use or not use legal reps therefore were not outed the other day. Mr Savage may have made a recent decision to use a legal and is currently dealing with that. There is a hell of a lot that goes on behind the scenes for an inquest .

And the legals cost comes out of his pocket. The video call would be covered by inquest. When he is eventually summonsed to attend accommodation is covered by inquest.

Well, Mr Savage didn't have his legal representation teed up and available yet. He obviously is not as concerned about the investigation and proceedings as Spedding is and has been.
