I thought the point of the video was to prove his innocence, you would think in all his preparation of writing a script to read to the camera, he would have thought to provide an alibi in there somewhere.

We are focussing on the one POI that we know is required to be at the first sitting of the inquest. We have yet to hear about any other POI's required attendance.

The police are focussing on 5 suspects. Perhaps Spedding is at the very top of the list? For reasons that you and I and our other thread members are yet to know, or determine. Which is why he is under such heavy discussion here at the moment.

Absolutely it is a good idea, as a way of ensuring you deliver the important details of your message in the most accurate way, I would think his alibi would have been included in a prepared statement.
He actually starts the video off with wishing to state that he had no involvement in the disappearance of William, so he is attempting to clear his name of any involvement, not just that he was not supposed to attend the residence on the day he disappeared.

Perhaps you missed "The media has correctly reported my attendance at the premises"? At around 1:05 in the Ten Eyewitness News video supplied in a previous post.

For clarity. I would like to know how the quote came about. If it was a phone call requesting a quote. How prompt and on time was BS in heading out to 48 to give the quote on the 8th 0r 9th?

If the quote request was by way of a phone call. It will have been clarified.
I was more wondering about his reliability and promptness when he had a request for a quote or repair.
I guess I am wondering was that Dunbogan am or pm job booked in.

Well there we go! Thankyou. It seems as though school assembly attendance was before coffee for the Speddings. Therefore it seems likely the alibi is strong for the critical time of 10.30.

Well hang on, let's analyse this. If they went for coffee AFTER the 11.30 am assembly, then that still leaves 10.30 - 11.30 wide open. Assuming they went to the assembly, and assuming they went for coffee, which we're still waiting to be validated by a proper source eg police or impartial witness.
