And maybe it was not connected to him in any way.

Probably because he stated in 2014 about The neighbourhood Xmas party where he had met the family. It is just a case of verifying what another witness has said. It is very common to do this imo.

So FACS reps knew the exact date foster family were arriving into Kendall. Foster parents were posed a question in one of the documentaries asking a particular question who knew of the Kendall trip. I cannot recall an answer that indicated FACS. That info may not have been revealed on police advice or request.

I wonder, if the FFamily in these special circumstances was allowed to suddenly change the date of the absence from Sydney (instead of Friday morning they started already Thursday evening) for their "surprise visit".

Doesn't sound as if FGM will be giving evidence this week. It seems, that the police minister walking into the inquiry with the FP's is a statement. Sounds like the vehichle the FM saw and has since identified as well as the man driving it, may well belong to a publically known POI, which would explain why, if there is no evidence a stranger abducted WT, that said POI is still in the mix. Or all the POI's have met WT at some stage. IMO

I thought, GJ would be present at the inquest, though not in his role as the Lead Detective. Did someone mention him?

I wish the FPs had been allowed to have Jubelin beside them, I’m sure he would have been a strength to them on this awful day.

I believe so but I think BS was in his van. I remember there being a photo of it parked on one of FGM’s home’s driveway, amongst police cars.

She described the man as large, with a big abdomen, short red hair, “not overly tanned” and having no facial hair.

I'm thinking this car may have been doing a re-con, checking to see if they had arrived yet or to look at the location and was then surprised to see that they were already there??
I wonder if the burnt out car in nearby bushland was the one FM saw? It was suspected to be TJ's car.
Let's face it, a face like TJ's would certainly stand out in upper middle class, Kendall where most are relatively descent, respectable looking folk. IMO.

Oops, ok, just saw that the man was described as large and red haired- Not TJ then??

maybe or maybe this red head man is not a poi at all? im hoping ps or others can remember seeing these vehicles, and that police can explain why they werent mentioned to the public until a year later? its all so odd!

William Tyrrell's foster mother shook and cried at a coronial inquest as she remembered the last time she heard the boy roaring 'like a tiger' in her mother's backyard before he fell silent and disappeared.

The foster mum's emotional testimony came as she claimed to have witnessed a mystery man with 'sandy-reddy' coloured hair driving up the street in a green sedan before William vanished on September 12, 2014.

'As I'm talking to you, I can still see him, and I can see that car,' the mother, who cannot be named for legal reasons, told counsel assisting the inquest Gerard Craddock SC on Monday afternoon.

The mum told the inquest that William's sister was riding her bike at the front of the property at Kendall, on the New South Wales north coast, when she pointed and said: 'Mummy, who's that car?'
