Neighbour Anne Maree Sharpley tells inquest William’s foster mother was very upset looking for him and said he’d “either hit his head and can’t hear me, or someone has taken him”. She then helped with the search @9NewsSyd

Lydene tells the court William’s foster mother knocked on her door and asked if she could search her backyard, which she allowed. She then noticed his foster father “frantically running” up and down Benaroon Drive. @10Daily @10NewsFirst

On 9news news update linked above paraphrased....it says that FM heard scream whilst she was searching in bush she looked and couldnt see spider suit then thought it could be a bird. She immediately phoned 000.

If he hit his head and knocked himself out, he wouldn't hear her. It's one of the things that goes through your mind when your child is missing.
