Lol. You don't reckon that the junior officers were beaten up while someone stood guard with a wrench, sleep? :D
I’m confused about the whole article and the relevance

I’m confused about the whole article and the relevance

It's not relevant to the pressure that can be put on people in various professions or situations to go with the flow, agree with their colleagues, not feel outcasted.

It often happens in unions, where the leader and others want to strike, and other workers are too intimidated to say they don't want to strike as they need their weekly paycheque and they are reasonably happy with their current pay rate/conditions/whatever. But they go along with the strike due to pressure from their colleagues, and wanting to stay 'in' with them.

Sleep is saying that the '10' officers who complained may have felt pressured into complaining - or agreeing with the initial complaint.
I was trying to give a reasonable comparison where workers feel obliged/pressured to agree.

I don't know what frogwell was trying to say.

The podcast appears to show a couple of anomalies.

The 1st one is the (actor) read statement of FFC does not have the 2 weeks that FFC testified at inquest that FGM had said had been waiting time for washing machine repair. Under xx by Craddock.

The vehicle that turned into Miller's at 51 is described as being green/grey not teal. The Windows were up and FFC couldn't see any of the occupants. That is actor( read) from FFC statement. Different to what was testified at Inquest.

Now I am not saying FFC has given a false statement or testimony. I ask...... is what is being actor read on podcast correct and the actual words in FFC statement?

I wonder if these podcasts are clickbait.

No, the article is a ridiculous comparison. And may have been intended that way. imo

As a further aside - the police, in particular, generally stand behind a blue wall of silence/agreeance (with their colleagues).

Allegedly
To clarify - a line from the “ Australian”
Those inquiries disclosed a number of recordings allegedly made at locations in Parramatta and Kendall in NSW.’’

Yes by Jubelin as per charges. The media also raised allegations he instructed 10 junior officers to do same. From my perspective that action would be intimidating to a junior officer to be instructed by their DCI to record without a warrant.

And as per “charges “ BS was charged with horrid sexual crimes against very young girls. At the time many here said he’s charged not convicted , guilty till proven innocent etc. let’s be fair and afford GJ the same until he has his day in court on accusations he like BS strenuously denies

Media organizations currently use a lot of tactics to drive the public to their websites due to falling readership of paper copy. It's all about $s for them. Each click is money. The only new reveal was the 3rd stop on drive to Kendall on 11th. The podcast repeated most info already widely known.

FYI it’s only the first one

I think there is some confusion here. There were ten officers who complained about Jubes - not specifically about the recordings, but management style/bullying/the first allegations - which led to an investigation.
That investigation then led to a Professional Standards Command investigation where the recordings were revealed, as well as 'some' junior officers feeling that they should/could do the same.

I think that needs to be clarified here, before this theory of 10 officers being 'coerced into illegally recording' takes legs and runs as a fact.

I would imagine that some junior officers illegally recorded, as Jubes is alleged to have done and police have been known to do (as per an article I tried to post, but couldn't, by the deputy editor of the Sunday Telegraph), and they are saving their own butts by turning it all on him.

Never mind, I'm done trying to explain. Some just don't get it, or don't want to because of their beliefs.
