BBMThere is nothing in the article that sounds unusual to me, either.
Jubes would have been trying to eliminate POIs one by one as normal.
First eliminating the FF, as stated, then somewhere along the line trying to eliminate Spedding, then later trying to eliminate Savage.
Of course, there would many others in between who would have been eliminated as POIs (including the BP).
Perhaps the persons mentioned were the 'biggest' ones to look at by the person in charge of the investigation. Start at home and then work outwards, the way all/most investigations are conducted.
I would agree start at home and then work outwards. The article states that the FFC and the MFC were "never considered suspects". I hope the inquest clarifies that point. Obviously they were interviewed and gave statements. What lengths were taken to investigate them to clear them? I would have thought initially, by the 1st afternoon of WT's disappearance, when police contacted police in Port Macquarie that they felt something more sinister had happened to WT, they would have been scrutinised to the hilt, because police know statistically to to investigate the people closest and the last to see a missing person, 1st.
To access the article, type,
