The information was not obtained through sleuthing foster family. I do not have a Facebook account. The information was in a public domain.
Then if it can't be linked perhaps we shouldn't be discussing it, as per TOS.

Not helpful but thats ok. Was just interested in what you had to say and the relevance.
I am so sorry it’s not helpful. Thank you for your interest.

I did not raise the security issue to be against MFC. What it does show is his naive attitude to security issues at the time. He was advised of hacking and rego plate tracking possibilities. A very real possibility in the background and preparation by perps involved in the disappearance of William.

IMO
No, but you did start a discussion about having access to her private messages. If that can't be linked inder TOS perhaps it shouldn't be discussed or introduced to the discussion, IMO

I thought "rejected" from being able to participate in the search, "rejected" from being able to represent WT as his child that is missing, "rejected" by other people who are not related being known by his BM's name. (the last one is deeply cutting and insulting) Basically being made by FaCs and the police, persona non grata in own son's missing persons case. IMO
Yes. But put those feelings of being insulted and rejected alongside the feelings of grief and anxiety over one's child's probable death. Doesn't one set dwarf the other? What would you talk about?

You did not supply the link to the other message as only BBM showed. I am interested to know what message you replied to.
Yeah, she did. Bo's link was to SA's post #1636. If you're 'ignoring' SA you won't have seen it.

They cant have it both ways, thought one of the complaints was that Jubelin focused on one particular poi, it seems he moved on to another one as well.

Is there a link between PS and BS? PS did say 'off the cuff ' he did not know BS.
The search of BS properties were before Jube's took over as lead. So I guess someone else might have to explain their methods as well.

When I was reading the book Change Makers (the chapter on Jube's) he says regardless of what occurs, whether we charge someone or not, it will be scrutinised by a court - it could be a coronial inquest or the supreme court - given the nature and severity of the crime, so you've got to be able to justify your decisions.....................
you become battle hardened from spending a lot of time in court, where you have highly paid barristers who have the luxury of reviewing your work.

Change Makers is linked a few threads back. Or just google it with Gary Jubelins name.

BBM.

I’m confused. Do you mean BF being rejected because William did not have his surname? Or rejected by William’s FP who were known by his BM’s name?

The latter, FC's portrayed as Wt's parents and using the BM's name as their own. Not saying that was their choice, but I can see how the choices made at the time in the circumstances added insult to injury. MOO

The whole situation, a child removed which they objected to handing over and disputed that removal, having him disappear with those who were deemed better able to care for WT, having their home searched and not adequately being informed by police that WT was missing, that occurred later in the day by the salvation army workers, being suppressed from speaking to the media and identified as the child's father, having other people being identified in MSM as his son's parents and using a biological name to do so. Being told not to help with the search for his son.... apparently not being informed of care plans for his children e.g. adoption until the inquest... Who wouldn't feel like the world does not rate them as a human being in this situation?

The FP had had William in their care since he was an infant so, of course, they were known as his Mummy and Daddy after so many years. I don’t find that disingenuous or an intended rejection of the BF by the FP.

Also, were the FP’s ever named as ‘The Tyrrells’ in MSM? I don’t remember them being referred to as such — ever.

(btw William’s last name would have been decided at his birth so his BF can hardly blame the fact that it was registered as ‘Tyrrell’ on the FP.)

I am not unsympathetic to William’s BF (and not forgetting William’s BM) but to blame William’s abduction on the FP and, by extension, anyone ‘in authority’ seems misguided. The person who is to blame for this tragedy is William’s abductor and his abductor only.

I think the anger, ‘if onlys’ and sadness William’s BF is displaying in his letter are normal stages of grief. Hopefully the inquest, alongside some informed and mature support, will help him work through this and to heal as much as is possible.

I agree. And it's possible the reporter inflated the relative importance of the other feelings.

I felt that on balance, the way BF's attitude was presented, it was not too different to BGM's, which prompted many people to throw around the n-word. (The other n-word.) I think BF is getting a pass for having a cool civility when it suits him, and perhaps for being male, in spite of a very nasty aggressiveness at other times. I don't accept Bo's suggestion that he's mal-influenced by his 'entourage', who incidentally are all female.

I didn't link to post, I have seen articles in the 1st year refer to the FP's as the Tyrells. There might even be one on the thread if i really dig. I do not blame the FC's for these decisions of how they have been portrayed in the media or blame them for WT going missing. I did not mean that BC's name was rejected but that the name WT is known by, which was given to him when he was with his partner was used to name the FP's and about that I would not blame him for having hurt feelings.

I said it was understandable if BP was ‘mal-influenced’ given his entourage. It really has nothing to do with the fact that some of them may be female (to me anyway). It’s may be simply that people who have their own agendas (conscious or not) are taking advantage of a deeply troubled human being who, yes, just happens to be male.

Maybe it was simply assumed their surname was Tyrrell (or Tyrell). As I said, I am not unsympathetic to William’s BF (as I am not to his BM and FP). I just can’t understand why so much energy seems to be put into (figuratively) pointing fingers every which way when there is so obviously a child abductor and, perhaps, murderer to blame for taking William away from his families — both of them.

I guess the floating suspicion has injured my generosity. Peace.

I imagine that as well as being very accustomed to court and inquest appearances and questions - due to his long career with the NSW Police - Jubes will have Margaret Cunneen SC there with him.

Jubes will likely have more support this way, than if he was appearing on behalf of the NSW Police in an official capacity. imo

Yeah, she did. Bo's link was to SA's post #1636. If you're 'ignoring' SA you won't have seen it.

Well, a member does see all the posts if they read the thread when not logged in.
It is only when logged in that a member's ignore list comes into play.

Thought I would mention that in case anyone has papertrail's type of question again. Just log out and then every post and reply shows up.

There is also an option at the bottom of each page that says 'Show Ignored Content' (when logged in, and if there is ignored content on that page). A member can click on that, and all of the content you personally are ignoring on that page shows up.

In my experience, it is useful to know for when a member sees a reply and wants to know what post it is referring to. It is frequently a reply that is responding to ignored content.
