Hmmmm...
Am I correct that of the bio family only the BM and BD have been cleared?
IMO
Yes, I believe so.

So true Violet...As far as people not understanding why someone would speed & draw attention to themselves if they had just snatched a child - well really, how far ahead are these people thinking anyway! I don’t think we can assume on the mindset of someone willing to snatch a child would be one to think rationally & clearly.
If it was a planned abduction - which I don’t think can be ruled out now after all the craziness of the inquest - I can imagine a situation where both children were the targets, William just happened to be the easier target, maybe he was taken & the perps waited close by with him for an opportunity to grab the second child, not thinking how quickly the neighbors could ban together searching the whole area & calling out for William, this could account for the time delay in William disappearing & the cars seen driving in what could have been a spooked manner - spooked by how quickly people where searching for him.
Caroline said something in her podcast for William that made my ears prick up, the fact that the family could have been watched & the plan was to take the children as they slept, but was interrupted by the children each sleeping alongside a parent.
@drsleuthNo problems stormbird, I encourage anyone to go to court to hear the evidence for yourself if you can. You only hear/ read a fraction of the evidence heard in the MSM.
Mr Craddock only mentioned the lady in the fawn w4d to come forward .
I don't find this unusual thou, the police will use the media for their own benefit when it suits them........
@drsleuth
Thanks for replying! Yes, the police use the media, but I hadn't imagined that coroners would.
So, Coroner Grahame or Mr Craddock think it's important the public should know about the woman driving the 4WD, but not important to know about the man driving closely behind (who might have information about the 4WD which he appeared to be chasing). That's a bit odd, IMO.
@drsleuthI don't know how Caroline can write about people's reactions in court when she wasn't even in the court room.![]()
She was not in the main court room therefore could not see anyone's reactions, she was in the media room, where they are just shown the person asking questions & the witnesses.@drsleuth
What makes you say she wasn't in the court room? I think she's shown outside the court in the 7News video posted earlier (00:17).
Australia - Australia - William Tyrrell, 3, Kendall, Nsw, 12 Sept 2014 - #45
It would be a bit strange if she was there and didn't go in. Or do you mean that wherever she was sitting inside would not have given her a view of people's reactions?
Mr Champan didn't get a good description of the male driver, where he did the female driver.@drsleuth

Talking about CCTV, if it's true that police didn't visit Mr Chapman at home until a long time later, I think there's a danger that they might not have checked with other residents of Laurel St to see if they had CCTV cameras or vehicle dashcams. In the Karen Ristevski case, the police went through DMV records and identified every vehicle like Karen's - so they could determine the vehicles whereabouts at the time that Karen was taken to Mt Macedon in her own car and dumped, thereby excluding them from being the vehicle sighted on CCTV.
I considered BGM, but as well as being the wrong age, I don't think she'd be described as "plump". The only other blonde I can think of is AMS, who is definitely not plump, has no apparent motive and was probably in the company of FFC at the time. This gives me goosebumps to think that may have been little William
I personally don't think BM did it- I thought she and BD had been cleared.
However, I know mr Chapman said the woman looked young, in her 20s or 30s - I'm wondering if BGM could, from a distance at speed look much younger than she is. Of course JMOO
I can see Katie's point. Why would a person attract attention to themselves in this situation?
My answer to that is that they don't care who sees them.
Which is another reason why I think this could be a domestic situation. A woman and child fleeing from a man. She was hammering away. His car went around the corner almost on two tyres.
I see no point in a 2nd car to abduct little William. I don't actually see the point in two cars even if they wanted to abduct both children. Surely two persons in one car would have a better chance of containing one or two children, especially when in the back seat area.
The driver(s) can't do a heck of a lot to contain them other than drug them or tie them up ... which takes a little time.
The seen child had his hands up on the window and was standing - he was not restrained, he was not crying, he was not bent over having an asthma attack.

I somewhat agree with the other poster who objected that BM isn't "fair" enough, whatever colour she put in her hair. I would expect someone described as "very fair" to be what I think of as a Dutch type, naturally fair in adulthood, fair eyebrows, blue eyes, pink and white skin, usually a large solid build. I wouldn't expect Mr Chapman to observe all that but he may well have recognized the type.
Two cars suggests to me that one belongs to the person who knows and can draw and fib the child, and the other to a person who isn't going to be missed and has time to take the child to the hiding place. Two cars because they are going in different directions, and there is time pressure.I never understood the "second car" theory either. 2 children can fit in 1 car.
If the boy was William, it sounds like he didn't look distressed/crying, indicating that he may have known his abductor. The FM also reported hearing short high-pitched scream, like when a child hurts themselves unexpectedly. Could it have been a shriek of surprise at seeing someone he knows turn up unexpectedly?
William Tyrrell's mother thought she heard toddler scream, inquest told
"When a child hurts themselves unexpectedly, there's a scream, and it felt like a scream — it was quick and it was high pitched and it was sharp, which is why I went into these reeds," she said.
Thanks JLZ, I completely missed the plump bit!I considered BGM, but as well as being the wrong age, I don't think she'd be described as "plump". The only other blonde I can think of is AMS, who is definitely not plump, has no apparent motive and was probably in the company of FFC at the time.

What about BGM friend? I think the one she lived with.
IMOO
She could be the man.
Definitely not that age profile, but always a possibility that Mr. Chapman was not 100% correct on his age estimate. Even I get people's ages wrong when making estimates
I dont think it was her at all..she was quite pregnant at the timeA white short sleeve blouse is not the right clothing for pregnant BM ... not her style, IMO.
I can't imagine, a mother of x children being so reckless in letting her child stand on the backseat of a raging car ..........(looking out the window to another dangerously raging car).
If little W did know the male driver?
