JLZ I was just looking for that photo in the incident room.... do you have a copy??? As William wasn't even wearing a white singlet underneath....

In all of the photos released it appears to be a blue t-shirt with red trim …. we need to find that photo of the incident room to see if the Police also purchased the exact t-shirt???
I don't have a copy. I have a feeling it came up on one of the TV programs.

I

I do recall however a comment made by FM way back when she described how WT specifically wanted to wear his spider man outfit that morning and the compromise was that he wear a singlet underneath.. not sure of the colour of the singlet or if the colour of it was ever mentioned
In FM statement she said that she made a compromise with William … he didn't want to wear a singlet so instead he wore his Spiderman t-shirt ….. also Blue and Red … "he was all spidermanned out"

Ahh sorry..
All good.... :-)

But there is a discrepancy some where in this …… ??? The true outfit versus the photographed outfit??? It just seems odd that "out of the blue" … (no pun intended) that suddenly there is white on the suit??? Is that why Jubes didn't pay much attention to Chapman's story??? Who knows at this point???

Savage: "Maybe I should have just kept my nose out of it and left it (the suit) to rot there ... I did everything I could to help yous find the little bugger."

So William is a 'little bugger' now??

Sounds to me that Savage has a bit of a temper, and resorts to name calling when growing exasperated. Surely a little innocent lost child deserves to be called by his name, no matter what. Especially when a person claims that he has been 'searching and searching' for him.

Jubelin: "We've worked on this investigation, it's the largest in the state ... we're eliminating people but we can't eliminate you, and your behaviour at the time is really, really concerning."

Jubelin tells Savage “I’m not trying to pin this on you. I think that you have serious mental health issues”.

That’s def another side to consider.. RC story just doesn’t sit right with me full stop. The word was out that morning loud n clear that the search was centred around a lil boy lost hence the countless days of searching through the bush.. wouldn’t you contact the police immediately after the sighting to let police know that he’s not in the bush coz you just saw him in the back seat of a car drive right past your house.. this investigation could have taken a completely different turn had Chapmen spoke out on day one

In the recording, Mr Savage maintains he searched the bush for half an hour when William disappeared and then came home to have a cup of tea and saw his brother. He says the inference he was involved and used the time to hide the body is "bull crap"

It was a long time ago, but my kids had a spiderman suit. I can't remember but I think it may have been white, or looked white if it was inside out. It didn't have white on it, Im pretty sure of that.

Jubelin is heard continuing to press him: "What causes me concern Paul is for two hours, you've disappeared after a child disappeared." He again says he thinks Mr Savage has "serious mental health issues" based on how he reacts to evidence presented to him.

Jubelin tells Savage “you have described the suit William was wearing at the time of his abduction... that causes me great concern”. He also claimed Savage started stalking the postal worker again two days before William vanished. Savage denies this.

Oh dear indeed. I am really wondering if nocturnal man left because of what happened to WT or because of his neighbour?

Probably a combination of both I'd say.

Jubelin accuses Savage of stalking the postal worker again two days before William vanished. He accuses him of having been out on the street waiting for her to come by the morning he was abducted.

'Rubbish' said accused Tyrrell neighbour - Shepparton News

When Mr Savage took a toilet break during the tense interview, the other investigator in the room told Jubelin she didn't think Mr Savage had seen the suit on the first day.

"And what did Mr Jubelin say?" crown prosecutor Philip Hogan asked on Wednesday.

"He had a different view," Detective Sergeant Laura Beacroft replied.

Det Sgt Beacroft said she told Jubelin after the interview she didn't think Mr Savage was responsible for William's disappearance.

"Mr Jubelin didn't agree with me," she told the court.

After accompanying the widower on a walk-through of the area in September 2017, the officer echoed her earlier position to Jubelin.

"I just didn't think he was responsible," she said on Wednesday.

I would really like to know Beacroft's opinion about who IS responsible. It seems that, so far, her opinion excludes everyone who is in the picture.

I am a little concerned that she is a 'bleeding heart' and feels sorry for everyone. There is no room for that when a small child has been abducted and is now missing .... for years and years. imo
