Jubelin tells Savage the case is going to a coronial inquest and all the details about his life, including the alleged talking of the postal worker, will come out. He tells him “it doesn’t have to go to an inquest if we find out what happened to William”.

Savage responds “I had nothing to do with that little fella’s disppearance”. Jubelin puts to him that he was waiting for the postal worker he’d been infatuated with to come by at the time William disappeared from the yard across the road.

They then make polite small talk about mowing the lawn, the “peaceful” surroundings and the cricket before Jubelin tells him to “take care”, wishes him a Merry Christmas and leaves.

Det Sgt Beacroft is asked if Mr Savage is still an “active person of interest” for the William Tyrrell strike force. She responds “to my knowledge he’s not an active person of interest anymore”.

Heather leaving @ 10:37 or 10:38 is coming from PS. I never heard any evidence that anyone saw her leaving that morning at anytime, she would have been leaving the same time the FF was arriving home.

So weird that so many things were going on in the street right at the time W was said to have disappeared:
-Lydene Hyslop arrived home and was unloading her groceries from her car to her house
-Lawnmower man was mowing his lawn on a ride-on lawn tractor at some point before when the neighborhood ladies started looking for W
-HS left for bingo reportedly at 10:38
-FD arrived home reportedly at 10:35 with FM reporting it had been just before that when she had seen W and sent him to look for daddy's car
-I can't remember what time it was that Chapman said he saw the vehicles racing on his street?
-it seems Jubelin has said the mail person was due to arrive around the same time, at least that is the impression I got from what has been written over the past couple of days - didn't he say to Savage that he was out there at that time because he was waiting for the AVO person to deliver mail?

Cunneen is now cross examining Det Sgt Beacroft. She’s asking her about the Spider-Man suit operation and the court heard Jubelin consulted “very closely” with a psychologist on that operation

Cunneen asks Det Sgt Beacroft if she showed Jubelin at some stage how to use his mobile phone as a recording device. Det Sgt Beacroft says she doesn’t recall that happening.

Cunneen asks Det Sgt Beacroft if she knew in advance that Jubelin was going to record those conversations, saying “is it possible he told you beforehand?” Det Sgt Beacroft claims she was only told after the fact.

Surely the police would have leaned harder on PS in the beginning if they thought William might have been run over, we all considered it early on.

Unless the police discovered in 1917 that Heather did not go to bingo that day. I just cant imagine a person running over neighbours child, presumably throwing him in the car, and carrying on to Bingo or racing in to tell your husband and leaving him to deal with it, and both carry on as though its a normal day.

I still think everything Jubelin has done re PS has been more of a fishing expedition to rule him out rather than in.
I think it is quite possible PS saw something, but unless Heather did run him over I dont see him as a killer.

i agree, accidentally running over a child would be a life changing event, there would be screaming and noise and panic, these are just everyday people in a small quiet village, if hs hit him im sure she just wouldnt drive off, she would be in shock and surely ring an ambulance? i still think ps witnessed something and gjs relentless accusatory questioning tactics aimed at breaking him to admit what he saw or knows, and leaving the spiderman suit and cameras on ps walking route, more pressure to know hes being watched, i think whoever took william is much cleverer than ps and will probably get away with it

Surely they wouldn't do that to her, considering all the dirty laundry that's been aired against Savage, in regard to this woman? But sure would be nice to know. I know we've been asking here for years when the postie came by and what he/she was driving!

If I remember correctly only her times for that morning were supplied to Police.. I don't think she's been called ..

I got the impression from the inquest that she no longer delivered to Benaroon Drive, but GJ's questioning seems to show she did..............who knows!!
