Yep and I believe he means that wholeheartedly
So why quit then? He quit, so he cant help solve it now,.and sounds like he knows or is now saying, the commissioner didnt care..so sad.
Who is looking for William now?
All my opinion only

I think from the moment this went to inquest the majority of them were engaging in butt covering (not to mention backstabbing). Poor little William and all of those who care about him.

And I wonder after what we have seen today (Scott Cook's) comment about William and moving the case to unsolved homicide)

Were there any other witnesses at the time to this comment? Any witnesses that can vouch for Scott Cook saying these words? I bloody hope so for Jubelin's sake.

Lia Harris @LiaJHarris
"Jubelin told the court when Supt Scott Cook took over Homicide he pointed to a picture of William Tyrrell next to Jubelin’s desk and told him “no one cares about that kid. Get him off the books and get him to Unsolved Homicide”

Further below the last update for today on twitter.
I most certainly have no confidence after what I have seen and heard after the last two days.

Still team Jubelin all the way. Go Gary, Go, you got this.

Lia Harris @LiaJHarris
NSW Police Comissioner Mick Fuller, whose legal team tried to suppress the allegations about Cook today, has released a statement expressing his support for his now Assistant Comissioner. Saying “I have full confidence in the professionalism of Assistant Commissioner Scott Cook”.

He was on desk duties for months (stayed much longer than most I would think)

I also wanted to point out all the hate GJ copped here for targeting Spedding, turns out he was the one who tried to stop the search of his premises being made so public.

Very sadly from other missing child cases i have followed the longer they go on the less they seem to get solved. One i have followed is going on 9+ years now and still nothing. And there are others even for much longer.

After Daniel Morcombe case being solved after 8 years I still hold hope... however also hold serious doubts and concerns after what I have seen in the last couple days with this investigation. Lets hope and prey little William is brought home to his family, at least answers.

Yes just shows when you’re the “face” of an investigation you take the blame from the public

Exactly! And as he should bring the face of a team!! I didn’t hear him saying boo about anyone until this happened.

Beyond disgusting. How horrid for the families to hear that spoken about their child. Shameful

It truly is...

I hope asses get toasted like marshmellows over this.

I don't think we will hear anymore about the investigation except via official statements.... There has been a lot of "fallout" with this case for the NSW Police...
I believe at least while the Coroners is ongoing they are working behind the scenes …. I hope so anyway....

My guess is that that last tweet via Lia (Scott Cook) after the suppression order was lifted will be the subject of many MSM news headlines tomorrow. If not they are working hard to get it in for tonight's news updates.

More damage control????

The rest of the Fullers statement … only first paragraph was tweeted....

This afternoon NSW Police Commissioner Mick Fuller released a statement about the allegations.
"I have full confidence in the professionalism of Assistant Commissioner Scott Cook, who has more than 31 years of exemplary service with the NSW Police Force, which includes receiving the Australian Police Medal in 2019.
"Much of Assistant Commissioner Cook's career has been in criminal investigation with a specialty focus on serious and organised crime.
"He was promoted to the rank of Superintendent in 2010 and took the role of Asian Crime Squad Commander, before being appointed as the first Organised Crime Squad Commander in 2015.
"Assistant Commissioner Cook held the role of Homicide Squad Commander from 2018, during which he exemplified the definition of a leader and reimagined the review process for unsolved cases to improve communication with the families of victims and deliver answers and justice in more cases.
"In December 2019, he was promoted to the rank of Assistant Commissioner as the Police Prosecutions and Licensing Enforcement Commander."
