Yes they were friends but I think it was established back many threads ago that the friendship occurred after William was taken so could have had a purpose or could be just plain noses. I’m not sure about Jones. I think his family want revenge and would like it to be him. I hope that doesn’t just muddy the waters. I agree that PS might have seen something.

Sound comments IMO Wex.... there appears so much scum in the area that I’m sure many would like to see all removed, but reality is that it’s the Guilty party / parties for this Crime that ultimately we must try to expose & see pay the penalty due re this Crime.

I’ll take liberty here to pay tribute & say thanks for the amazing work of so many dedicated people, here for William. I’m in awe of the skills & dedication in this team. Kudos to all with Prayers for Justice for William.

From TJ's answer it seems the Coroner is ascertaining if TJ and FA were known to each other in Sept '14.

Going by Lia's wording it appears he is still the SIL not the ex-SIL. Why then was it pointed out the SIL is a neighbour? why not say FA's daughter is a neighbour? Was there a reason for bringing the SIL into the picture?

100% interesting 4 me too, but then I remembered DG commented something like ‘neighbour used chainsaw to cut wood’ & I (perhaps politically incorrectly) immediately thought of a ‘male’ neighbour.

The William Tyrrell inquest has resumed in Taree, but sex offender Tony Jones is still on his way here from Sydney and won’t resume his testimony until later this morning. Local woman Iris Northam has taken the stand. Her and husband ran a scrap metal business.

Mrs Northam told the court she and her husband previously employed Frank Abbott to do “odd jobs” around the scrap metal yard. Abbott is a person of interest in the case and is currently serving jail time for child sexual offences. He’s listening to the testimony via video link.

lol .. working in scrap metal business but never met each other - well it’s certainly a vast area with so many competitors in the same industry for sure - said tongue in cheek & so over the waste of oxygen afforded these misfits. They actually get handouts that’s they spend on ‘long necks’ while so many good & caring people & parents struggle to provide for selves & family.
I find it a sad indictment of our Australian society (or any society) that we allow Evil to prevail over Good, and yet we Ponder over Youth Crime Rates ... and do Nothing to help those caught in the spiral.

Mrs Northam is now asked about the sawmill where Abbott was living around the time William Tyrrell disappeared. That site has been searched extensively by detectives recently.

He’s asked about phone calls he made the day William disappeared and told the court “I have no recollection of that day”.

Of course he doesn’t - with perfect alibi provided by testimony of how drunk he was !

Yesterday he missed his flight - car trip all the way so late.
Today ?

How is it that this stuff is allowed to happen ? I’d be beside myself to be on time for something so important, yet it seems our Court system is content to be ‘played’ by those who’ve played our society previously & will continue to do so - with the freedom bestowed upon them by our halfwitted misplaced do-Gooders who for some reason seem to have a voice over the millions of Good & Sane people - those who’ve raised good & sane offspring, who now despair at the plight & future of our country / society.
IMO & please please may sanity prevail. It’s a much bigger need than protection from Coronavirus & the battle far more important than in the toilet paper aisle IMO.
