im halfway through the book and enjoying it also

I get the impression that Jubes thinks it was a lone pedo.
His comment after no-one came forward for the $1,000,000 and immunity from prosecution - feeling that if multiple pedos were involved, one of them would squeal with those kind of rewards offered and the threat of a strike force after them.

I think he really stuck to what is known publicly - while giving more detail in certain instances - to not compromise the investigation. But I do think he believes Savage is lying. He put in a lot of effort to try to form a relationship with Savage, to try to instill confidence and respectfully break down the resistance. (As he did with informers throughout the book.)

I also think it is curious that he brought up the hermit. Introduction of a person that none of us knew anything about. I wonder why.

Heartache endures: Six years since little William vanished

SIX years ago the unimaginable happened.
Mid-morning on September 12, 2014 a little boy enjoying a play in the yard of his foster grandmother's home at Kendall had his innocence stolen.
Wearing just his Spiderman suit, William Tyrrell disappeared. Relentless searching for the boy since then has found nothing.

The inquest is examining how William vanished from his foster grandparents' home on Benaroon Drive and if human intervention played a role.

Several witnesses are still to give evidence and investigators are examining fresh leads.

It makes me feel sick to my stomach that people like this roam amongst us. These men are so young doing these despicable things to young children.
I hope and pray WT did not come across any of this type of evil.

In all these crime investigation shows I watch on TV, so many times the perpetrator was interviewed close to the start of the investigation... my gut tells me that they have come across the perpetrator before... they just need the missing pieces to the puzzle.

The DM says between 2017 and 2020. But who knows if they were abusing prior to that and not yet recording the abuses.

Hopefully more info will come out about these two creeps.

Wasn't there a local who stopped in briefly to say their child was at a child care centre where one of the creeps worked? I wonder if they have heard anything more through the local grapevine.

The youngest one, who it says is now 21, I think was 20 when arrested, has been charged with sexual intercourse of a one year old, it’s not a huge leap for me to wonder what he was up to at 14 especially if he had an older accomplice.

We discussed this a little further back. Some of us think it is the large bloke with dead animals hanging in the trees, that had a shrine of Jubes and William in his bedroom, and lives on Batar Creek Road. House overgrown by the forest. There are some pics a little further back of an overgrown house in the forest on Batar Creek Road. The property goes all the way up to #35 and a little past it.
