I am shocked!
Major development in William Tyrrell investigation

So sad now.

"It's highly likely that if we found something it would be a body. We are looking for the remains of William Tyrrell, no doubt about that," he said.

"This activity is in response to evidence we have obtained in the course of the investigation, not speculative in any way, we are acting on behalf of the coroner."

Police said the search would involve three specific locations, all in the Kendall area.

Detective Chief Superintendent Bennett said the searches were based on new evidence and experts from outside the police force would be assisting officers.

"There will be a number of strategies used by the police and other agencies to clear ground and go subterranean in the number of locations," he said.

I am just feeling worried that if the POI reads about this new development/plan, they may be able to return to the site and recover what they know police will find. I hope these locations are already under constant police surveillance, so no opportunity for this to occur

This is unbelievable!
If this actually turns out that the foster parents are responsible I don’t think I will ever be able to trust people again, I honestly believed them & thought I could feel their pain in their interviews
I was hoping against all hope that the AVO matter could be a case of other peoples opinions being involved in the life of the victim listed & things/accusations getting out of hand because of that, but with more thought put to the fact that the podcast that featured the foster family has been seized, I’m thinking the worst could be possible, could they have slipped up with their stories on the podcast.
Whatever the case, whoever is responsible I just hope little William is finally found

Wait, why are they going and digging in all these other 3 areas, if there is a cemented hole dug under the home?

From memory ... that was done some time after.... by new owners at the time....

The area searched today (near old Pony Stables) was where the FM drove to, using FGM's car..... at some point during the search that morning.... it was always difficult to establish exactly what time that drive occurred .... IMO

The Australian today 15 November reads

NSW Homicide Squad detectives have sought an apprehended violence order against the foster parents of William Tyrrell following an alleged assault on a child related to the missing boy.

Homicide squad officers learned of the allegations within the last fortnight as part of ongoing inquiries into William’s disappearance, which in recent months have narrowed onto the boy’s foster parents as persons of interest.

They cannot be identified for legal reasons and other information relating to the alleged assault, obtained by The Australian, cannot be printed on account of similar restrictions.


Police will allege that bruising was identified on the child and common assault charges are being considered by investigators, although the precise circumstances of the matter remain unclear. The AVO case is scheduled to be heard in Hornsby Local Court later this month.
