I think she has been removed from their care & AVO are for physical violence- bruising
yes agree that being the catalyst preverbial straw that broke the camels back and opened the flood gates.

On Tuesday morning, officers were seen digging up and examining parts of the garden bed that sits directly underneath the balcony.

Police were seen searching the front garden of William’s foster grandmother’s house.

NSW Police sift debris from the front garden of William’s foster grandmother’s former house in Kendall.

William’s foster parents have never been publicly named due to legal reasons.

Police returned to the home where William was last seen with cadaver dogs on Tuesday.

Officers also returned to a site about 1km from the home, using chainsaws and other heavy-duty equipment to clear dense bushland, in search of William’s remains.

‘One person’
On Tuesday morning, Police Commissioner Mick Fuller says there had been a significant breakthrough in the case and he’s confident police will solve the mystery.

“There is certainly one person in particular that we are looking closely at,” he told 2GB on Tuesday.

“I certainly don’t want to declare too much because again in these cases you do not want to compromise a potential outcome.

“Officers have been working tirelessly to get to this point where we are searching land, again using the best technology available.”

Yes I’m confused about this too. I don’t understand how two AVOs could have been issued for a child, when the FPs are separated. If they live in separate houses, they likelihood of needing protection from both FPs is strange. IMO

Yes that makes sense, however, I just found the article I read yesterday. It’s The Australian paywalled one. It says ‘alleged child assault’ and ‘resulted in bruising to the child’. I hope this is The Australian just embellishing the story, but I’m finding it hard to combine that with the accidental fall scenario.

Wouldn't both foster carers' names be on the caring agreement with the welfare authority. I understand the AVOs were raised as a result of something that transpired a couple of weeks ago that caused the (alleged) bruising.

Were there any recent flood events down near Cobb and Co Road area. There are a lot of waterways down that way and I am considering may something pertaining to a part of a skeleton got washed up to the surface. What would a hydrologist be involved for?

I can remember things starting from when I was three years old.
I'm thinking it's a possibility that the sister has remembered something, or finally revealed something she noticed on the day.

Hmmm I really think big sister has remembered some information.. I still randomly remember things from when I was younger, stuff I hadn’t ever thought of before just suddenly comes to my mind. Also, I’m not sure if it has been mentioned but maybe with the new technology they used in another recent case they were able to get more specific information from FM’s phone ping data on that day and it showed she visited one of the sites at the time she was out driving to the airport??

Have we had any confirmation foster parents are no longer together?

  • #307
I saw an article earlier today that said the house recently changed hands again. I can't find it now.

With all this media attention focusing on one particular foster carer you would think there would be some sort of legal action by NSW Police/DPP/Coroner barring any movement out of the Australia or New South Wales of the relative party IMO.

Detectives are investigating whether William fell from a balcony (left) and a cadaver dog is on the scene (right).

Detective Chief Superintendent Darren Bennett from NSW Police yesterday refused to reveal if there had been a tip-off or a human source was involved in the decision to launch the new operation.
But he underlined the search would focus on new areas, go underground, involve "specialist assistance" and new technologies.

Chief Superintendent Bennett said the search was being guided by "the holistic nature of a number of pieces of evidence ... and we think it provides us with the best chance of finding him".
"It's highly likely that if we found something, it would be a body," he said.
"We are looking for the remains of William Tyrrell, no doubt about that."

Jubes has admitted that you have to go down a lot of dead end roads to count people out. Part of the detective work. And all those Pedos in the area. Would have been a bonus to lock some of them away for maybe something else.

Does anyone know the time lapse between FF returning to FGM's from his virtual meeting & FM making the call to police please?

It’s great those sickos got outed/busted, for sure. I was more referring to a/some comments that mentioned speculation that Jubes knew what had happened regarding the balcony & the most recent POI, and thought PS had witnessed it, hence his insistence of what PS could see from his front porch (the balcony). IMO, I don’t believe that was the case. (I should have quoted a post to make my comment clearer).

What I have in my minds' eye today is the description from the female foster carer she gave of her standing in front of this raised balcony the Police now theorize William may have fallen from and died, and her enacting 'someone' grabbing William on his shoulders and whisking him away. She said that was the last place she had seen William. I think it was the 60 minutes documentary IMO.

Does the underground part include anything man made ?
Like in a septic tank, though I do remember they were said to have searched all those.
I remember having my doubts and that that something may have been missed.

Police are scouring a yard at the home where WT went missing from seven years ago as they investigate whether he fell from a balcony at the property.
Today investigators are digging up the garden below a second-floor balcony and sifting through dirt as they search for clues about what happened to the little boy.
Police are investigating whether WT might have fallen from the balcony of his foster grandmother's home.

Does anyone know the time lapse between FF returning to FGM's from his virtual meeting & FM making the call to police please?

From memory male foster carer returned from Lakewood and Kendall town (he purchased a newspaper there) just after 10.30 because it was very close in time to when Heather Savage left her residence. The phone call to 000 happened at 10.56am. 1st Police responder arrived on scene at 11.03 as he was not far away in his patrol vehicle?

edited to add. Female foster carer rushed to male foster carer on his return and asked if he had William.

I just did a bit of a topography check comparatively between river street cafe & cobb & co road and they appear similar and only 2.5kms away. Possible some flooding has outed something?

  • #319
If FPs have separated does that mean they would have to relinquish any foster children or would there be arrangements for shared custody
