If photo was at 7.30am, and FF took body to bury or dispose at 9.30am, wouldn't that mean they're looking in wrong car and wrong spot?

Yep, if that is the case then he could be deep in the forest ..

  • #922
Yes it was CO's podcast - when she took BioGM there the first time.....

Sincerely hope it was reported and investigated .... interestingly Police have kept this quiet during the inquest etc... IMO
You can see the car in the link I attached to my post in one of the photos. I believe it was discovered by the member sosocurious many years ago and that member put in a report to crimestoppers IIRC. There are many questions that I think would be asked about that vehichle. One question I would have is about another neighbors account of that morning and for some on here who are into statement analysis, the public statements this person has made. IMO

Another thing .. if he was disposed of in the forest, there would likely be very little to find. We are further north, but there are wild dogs and dingos all through the areas close to national park. All that would be left to find might be scraps of clothing that even if devoured would just pass through. I don't understand why the searches were focused on the more developed areas towards town.

Do we know what ps was doing from 10 to 10.30
OK PS's timeline

I saw it mentioned that the FF personally applied for a supression order prior to media about WT's disappearance being published, as to protect their identities, which surely should have been protected by default due to foster requirements.

Can anyone confirm/deny, or has anyone seen any mention of this throughout this case?
No sorry.

I
This was way, way back in the early days. Im sure there is a link for it as it was combined with fm having wt tested for behavioural issues.
Ive seen people stating this, but haven't seen anything credible to state that the family wanted to return him.

Here you go prime:

Australia - Australia - William Tyrrell, 3, Kendall, Nsw, 12 Sept 2014 - #50

PS and his AVO and various theses about his and his wife's movements were discussed at great length on earlier threads, as all long time members know. The link provides a starting point, but pages before and after all revolve around it, as do many other pages.

This article about the 2017 case the overturned the suppression seems to imply it was the Department's decision and that's the only thing I can find about the suppression order being used to stop media reporting it earlier on.
I can understand it would not be a good look for DCS to be in the news around a missing person's case.

What is the weird obsession in the thread with PS. If there's no evidence of an accident on his premises or on his vehicles, and no history of him having inappropriate actions with or toward children, why do people still consider this theory that he is connected credible? What am I missing?
GJ investigated him for several years and could never even name his as a Person of Interest in the case.

The evidence presented here that he is nefarious in some way tells us this about him:
1. He has an (unwelcome) interest in adult presenting females, not children
2. He is social enough with his neighbors to offer them assistance when they are experiencing difficult times
3. At one point he spoke to his dead wife out loud professing fear and anxiety in an illegally recorded conversation

If there's no evidence his car was involved in an accident there is literally no logical evidence connecting PS to the disappearance of WT and I am fairly sure if there was, GJ would not have had to defend his decision to record him without warrant before a court.

Someone has reported that William fell from the porch and PS has a direct line of sight from his little porch.
It may be a memory of William running up and down the verandah.

There was a bit going on that morning on Benaroon drive

There was the MFC leaving, the crabs coming back from their walk, AMS out having a smoke, HS leaving for bingo & the MFC coming back @ 10.35. PS & his walks & teas & toast & the postie

And no one saw anything or each other........

Straight out of an Agatha Christie plot...

Page 54 of Caroline Overington's book - FaCS denied the request from day 1.

Michelle White, from Young Hope, asked for approval from FaCS and it was denied, to protect the other child in the Fosters' care.

Judge Brereton did give the Foster Family an opportunity to be known, in the 2017 Ruling, as per above link, but they declined.

I mean, from a speculative POV yes, it's entirely possible he could have seen something if there was a fall involved. I don't feel the choices GJ was making in that investigation were pushing for him to recall something he'd seen. In the recordings of their conversations presented at GJ's trial, it really sounded as if GJ was pushing the accidental cover up theory and trying to get PS to admit to some sort of accident of his or his wife's causing.

I've been reading and absorbing for a few days trying to get my head around the current theory and searches.

The fall from the high verandah is plausible IMO
FFC not seeking emergency assistance is not believable IMO
Throwing his body away like a piece of trash after lovingly caring for him for 2yrs is not believable IMO
Telling the police in a walk through you drove to the location where you supposedly left the body doesn't make sense IMO

Harriet has given Rosann a 'to do list' and they are doing it.... that much is obvious. I'm curious to see what else they've got, if anything. It feels like they have worked through 599 poi's and there's just one left and they are throwing everything at that one poi in the hope of getting a result.

I hope this isn't a tactic that comes to nothing and another family is destroyed by a very public search operation.

Re the cup of tea bag vs teapot debate.
Source: CO's book page 20:

William’s foster mum put the kettle on and began to prepare tea for herself and her mum. It was by now around 10 a.m and she can clearly remember the details of the events that follow because morning tea was a bit of a ritual in her family.

“Mum likes a cup and saucer, and I like a mug,” she said.
“I like to leave the bag in for a while, and mum will just dip it in, and take it out again. She doesn’t like strong tea”.

Is it possible that once they have done everything on the 'to do' list William is declared 'dead' and the case is passed onto the cold case detectives?
