Circumstances of Disappearance
According to his wife, Raidl was very depressed in the days before his disappearance and he used to drive around in trains to "calm down". A witness, who saw him about a month after he left, told that he seemed to be very confused. He also used to visit homeless shelters in Vienna. He lived in Deutsch-Wagram near Vienna.

There was a man found deceased in Germany in 2016. Only a few hundred km's from where Norbert went missing. The physicals are very close. Also the items he carried were very similar although not exact, but could show a preference for style. A couple of years between going missing and dying is more than enough time to shed and acquire new items as the seasons change.
