Found Deceased Austria - Ross Hanlon, 21, Irish tourist, Vienna, 19 Jan 2018

Ross Hanlon, 21, from Athboy, Co. Meath vanished from outside Flex nightclub in Augartenbrucke district in Vienna in the early hours of Friday morning. The Dundalk IT student had travelled there for a holiday with two friends. Ross is described as 5ft 9in in height and is of medium build. When last seen, he was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans on the night.

Students and staff at Dundalk Institute of Technology held a vigil this morning for student Ross Hanlon who is missing in Vienna.

Police concentrating on water search:

...Investigators have now discovered that Ross was seen walking down stairs to the Danube Canal, a tributary of the River Danube.

And while searches are ongoing, they say it is “hard to believe” that he is still alive.
