"Pamela worries whoever killed Adrienne actually knew her."

I think there is something the family suspects........ *SNIP*

Imagine all the people they have come in contact with who have shared information we have never heard (will never hear). Intimate details ... they have had nothing but time to take all that information and put together their OWN theories; possibly about people we have never heard of. I hope LE takes every lead they offer up, seriously.

Having observed Sgt. Pooley's dedication and authenticity, I think this will be solved.

Maybe her family feels she would not have gotten into a vehicle with a stranger and I agree.
But I think how quickly Mickey was taken, even with her bike, and no one saw a thing. Abductions can happen very fast.

I hope she was not killed by someone she had some level of trust and/or friendship with; I really do not think any of her closer associates are involved or have guilty knowledge. I think she was making her way toward the cab, and either was taken before, or the cab driver took advantage of the situation. But mostly, I think she was taken before making it to the cab.

Mindset of the perp. JMO.

There's no telling, so many possibilities. Whatever the case, we'll get to the bottom of it, I hope.

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, has a neck tattoo of a duck...

Of course! Forgot about him because it happened so long ago! Thanks :)
Do you think they would have been able to rule him out though? Or at least have an idea of his movements after he killed his girlfriend? Do we know if they looked into that angle at all?

What are Mr. George's pings, etc. in relation to Apache Junction? Sure LE is going back over it as we speak!

Portions of this article:

Searchers had been concentrating in an area a couple of miles west of the Superstition Mountains and near the popular Lost Dutchman State Park.

Police are treating the case as a possible homicide, but there are no suspects identified despite an exhaustive investigation that has, until now, been hindered by a lack of physical evidence and witnesses.

“Everything is on the table,” said Sgt. Mike Pooley, and he added that no one has been ruled out as a potential suspect.

“We are just happy we were able to find her,” he said. “With the way her body was found, it is difficult to tell what happened to her.”

Police have interviewed hundreds of people, some of whom allowed searches of their personal property. Some of those interviewed also have agreed to polygraph examinations that are inadmissible in court but used by police as an investigative tool.

In addition, police searched the area near Salinas’ apartment, west of Arizona State University, and they also searched Tempe Town Lake.

More than 100 people, including volunteers, searched a wide swath of Apache Junction for evidence on Thursday, concentrating on 4 miles of a wash that includes private property. Searchers found articles of clothing and trash, but they were unsure if the items belonged to Salinas. The search was called off at about 1 p.m. due to excessive heat and the threat of rattlesnakes.

The search continued at about 5 a.m. Friday with at least 70 people. Pooley said crews hoped to cover a different part of the wash and that what they are able to cover on Friday would determine if the search continued into the weekend.

After an excessive-heat warning was issued on Friday, Pooley said the temperature would be a factor in determining how long the search lasted.

Authorities said it’s not clear where the body originated from because of recent flooding in the hilly area studded with cactus and the occasional house southeast of Lost Dutchman Boulevard and Arizona 88.

Pooley said police believe Salinas’ body was dumped or she was killed at another location along the wash and that water pushed the remains to where they were found. There was significant flooding on July 21.

Constance Halonen, an Apache Junction police spokeswoman, said the wash is popular for outdoor recreation, including horseback riding and the riding of all-terrain vehicles. She asked anyone who saw anything suspicious between June 15 and Aug. 6 to call police.

BBM: is this saying there are witnesses.. !!!

Your are correct imo. This article does seem to indicate that. I think they should have / meant to put a period after "evidence".

That's exactly what I took it to mean.

There always have been.

Kinda O/T, I realized you make a new post for pretty much every sentence; is this intentional? Maybe some way to reduce server strain (WS seems to have some problems recently)? I would've thought that a barrage of one word/sentence posts rather increase the burden on the servers, but if it's actually helping, I might adopt that MO, too. :)

When we were able to see the LE report, I started from the beginning. First, I read through it completely, then I started making a timeline.......
I didn't get too far, actually I was working on it the morning it was announced that there was the search and possible remains of Adrienne. I dropped it, but not without finding a few things.
Maybe there's some typos, or just some misunderstanding between the Officer writing the answers and the person giving them, IDK, but this is what I found in the first few pages (I do not count the pages of "Subjects" so if you're following along and want to verify, subtract the # of subject pages and use the first page of Narrative as "Page 1"):
[...]

Yeah, IIRC, LE expressed some dissatisfaction with statements from people in the apartment, I guess the timeline problems were a part of it. But let's not forget that what we have is just the very basic report, there have been lots of follow up interviews and in the case of FA (bf) certainly they obtained his phone records. Maybe this has been clarified.
IF those times are correct I join you in the concern that it's too tight. But what could be the scenario? Both roomies would have to be in on it, as both said they saw Adrienne after FA told them she got out of his vehicle. If it wouldn't be for this information, they would simply see Adrienne BEFORE she left WITH FA (both at party, she at one point upset on the grass, later getting into bedroom and packing a bag to leave with FA); then later someone drove her car and had the accident, put her clothes/bag in the apartment and, of course, made the cab calls.
I'd really like to see the phone records to rule out some mistake/typo. But I'm sure they took a very hard look on FA, as even if everything is correct, it still leaves the possibility that she indeed called a cab, and indeed someone else (maybe even a stranger) pulled up beside her and offered her a free ride to Scottsdale - and actually drove her there and dropped her off at FA safe and sound, and anything that happened happened there.

After reading about Murderer George, I have now put him at the top of my list of suspects. He just dumped his gf's body, was full of adrenaline, anger, prob in blame women mode, on a sick high, etc... and spotted a beautiful girl similar in some ways to gf.... if he did this, I hope he is a bragger and talking behind bars.
Others on my list, which is based solely on my opinion, are those who are supposed to be close to her at party and bf, and I still think there is a chance of a stalker/ someone obsessed with her. Wish we had clarification on the time inconsistencies!
