This Doe's NamUs page was updated recently. There's now a photo of him that was taken while alive when he was previously detained by border patrol, along with the name he gave: Ricardo Buitimea Ramirez (which may or may not be his real name).

In these cases of people who died crossing the border, the photos are often added to NamUs after a match is made via fingerprints. I'm not sure how it would have been done in Ricardo's case since the remains were apparently skeletal.
