Imagine a scenario where you have to pray that someone's remains belong to your little sister just to find peace and closure. Sarah is such an emotionally strong person.

I can't find anything on this. Is there an update?
They are testing DNA on a body that they found so we are hoping and praying that Sarah can get some answers for all the hard work that she has put in to keep her sisters case alive.

I thought Alissa was the older of the two?

Ah yes, I think you are right. An easy mistake to make when Alissa as we know her has been frozen in time.

It really is. I struggle to keep things like that straight all the time. 😊

I always thought he must have hidden her here in Arizona because he wouldn’t have had enough time to drive to the California desert, dig and hide a body, come all the way back without being completely sweaty and exhausted. The summers are upwards of 120 degrees

Apologies if this was already asked/answered

If the Jane Doe is found to be Alissa and they have evidence or DNA pointing to Dad as killer, can he be re-tried / re-charged?

I don't believe Michael Turney can be re-tried for Alissa's murder, as per double-jeopardy laws.

He is such a 🤬🤬🤬. The judge who acquitted him before the JURY trial was even finished should be disbarred.
The judge had 2 major cases at once, both very prominent cases in the news and didn’t make a good decision based on tons of circumstantial evidence that Michael Turney was involved with Alissa’s disappearance.

Come along with us in this docu-style vlog for the first-ever desert search in the high-profile 2001 disappearance of Arizona teen Alissa Turney.

Alissa's sister @SarahETurney has worked tirelessly to get here after 25 years, even through twists and turns of her own father charged then acquitted.

I’ve been following since I’ve listened to Voices for Justice. I am putting so much hope out there that Sarah can find Alissa or at least get closure on what happened to her. She deserves more than what she’s been given.
