and a great way to keep photos in order each room they move to they take a photo of a card with the name of the room, or the specific are being photographed

state constantly cutting off defense contamination arguments, going over with each CSS how they prevented contamination, the problem that will come up is that some of the CSS who entered scenes DNA was found in the lab, when processing evidence

really thorough processing of scene, all light switches swabbed, something often missed in many crime scenes
I'm glad they were thorough and meticulous so this absolute monster doesn't ever see the light of day again. Thank you for the updates! Very helpful.

they did faro scan of her home

an issue in scene collection was all sofa cushions were piled on top of each other before being collected, and one of the couch cushions has his DNA on so defense will have things to say about that I am sure

seems a laundry basket was in one photo in crime scene and was missing when scene photographed another day, so some mistakes may have been made when processing scene which defense is focusing on

can understand why trial is taking so long, state just questioned in detail the fireman who went to scene about his job,

neighbor testifying about hearing screaming night of murder, lived a short distance away, heard a woman or child scream she said, she was outside on patio, 9.30pm approx

again this witness to the the scream is questioned interminably by the state about how noise travels in her neighborhood, I will be here for months and months at this rate, state throws in JC name and asks if she knows him, the murderer according to defense, I will call him pharmacist as I have no idea how he spells his surname

I don't think juries need telling about experience and work history of all CSS, if they are employed by LE in a lab then they surely have been assessed and employed because they are qualified, why don't defense and state stipulate they are qualified in the job they do, such a waste of court time IMO

I understand state needs to show jury crime was processed correctly thus the defendants DNA was deposited there during the crime and he is guilty, but this is so repetitive going over and over the crime scene,

the jury by now have heard more than enough about crime scene

going over the crime scene still, focusing on the mat in pool, pm8 and pm9 jugs from garage with chemicals in, showing photo of laptop on couch, which ;looks like AF was working on her lap top when defendant broke in,

they have also brought in the broken bottle the state say she was sexually assaulted with

I was wondering why this trial was so long. 6 months is a lot to ask of a jury to sit through.
