Has there been any mention during the trial why AF legally changed his name?
you mean AF boyfriend Alex, he said he did so to escape the online harassment and bullying he got after AF was murdered, he was accused of being the murderer, he lived with the accusations in the media and online for years until IM was arrested and charged, He wanted to be able to live his life in peace, and I hope he has been able to do so, listening to him testify it was obvious that what he saw the day he found AF body has traumatized him, it was obvious from his testimony that they were very much in love, and were planning a future together, I hope he is able to live with his happy memories of AF, and he can continue to live his live as anonymously as he wants to once the verdict and sentencing is done

After months in trial, jurors heard closing arguments in a Scottsdale murder case that marked a first in Arizona.
[.....]
The defense team didn't finish their closing arguments, so that's where court will be picked up Tuesday morning. Prosecutors will get the final word before the jury gets the case, potentially as soon as Tuesday.

Mitcham is charged with Feldman's murder along with sexual assault and burglary.
[.....]
The jurors got the case late in the afternoon Tuesday, but the group won't truly start deliberations until Wednesday morning.

There are 12 jurors who will be deliberating. Six others serve as alternates and were selected by a random drawing in court.

I wonder if we will get to see the verdict, I have seen many interviews that her parents have given, for them to finally see that an ending is near must be a relief, you can see how much they adored their daughter, and how proud they were of her

From the article
A Scottsdale murder case is finally in the hands of a jury, more than a decade after 31-year-old Allison Feldman was found dead inside her home. The jury received the case around 4 p.m. Tuesday and will return Wednesday to resume deliberations

So - assuming the jury went home at say 5pm (Tuesday) that will be 1 hour of deliberations I am going put down. Then Wed. 10:30am to 5pm - 1 hour for lunch is what will be in my notes! :)

I have posted many times I am opposed to DP, so hope the jury doesn't choose this as his sentence,

So glad this monster was found guilty. I've been watching the trial and she fought so hard for her life. He thought he was being clever by pouring bleach around the home and on her but nope, he's done.

sentencing starts next Wednesday, forgot to post guilty on all 3,

Actually per the article you posted -
Sentencing will occur at a future date for Mitcham. Court proceedings are expected to continue on 4/15/26 to review the aggravating factors in the case.

And thank you for those articles! :)
