This happened in Scottsdale over Valentine's day and only about a mile from where Allison lived.

Police look to ID suspect in sexual assault http://www.abc15.com/news/region-northeast-valley/scottsdale/scottsdale-police-seek-info-on-valentines-day-sexual-assault

NancyDrew, I was at the community meeting when one of the neighbors asked the commander if she should be concerned about her eleven year old daughter walking to catch the bus or coming home from school to an empty house. The commander said no because this was an isolated incident and that she was targeted. When asked what that meant he said "personal".

That was a while back. So wonder who they had in mind and why it hasn't been solved by now. Her parents didn't seem to have a clue and she was close to them, same for her sister and doesn't she have a cousin living in Scottsdale? Did she have a previous boyfriend who bought her the Tiffany bracelet? That would be a reason why it was taken.

I wonder if there were signs of a stuggle near the door, i.e if the person forced their way in once she opened it, like a home invasion. Still could be someone she knew but did not want to let in.

Generally burglars don't want to run into occupants, but home invasions are terror-based. Lots of burglaries are committed during the daytime for this reason, to rob empty houses. Jmo

I was really close to my parents, but would not tell them much about my love life or relationships, especially if they ended badly. They were far away and worried constantly as it was. So one can be close without being confiding, Imo.

One more thing. I just wish Alex would talk to the media. I just don't understand why the family will not speak to the media either.

See I think that if Alex would relate what he and Allison did over the last few days of her life it might be helpful in finding her killer. He might have even known if she felt threatened or was being hassled by an ex.

Btw, I have heard that three young employees of the medical sales company Allison worked for have died in the last year with no reasons given for their death. What is up with that?

Do you think that if this were the case LE would have figured it out and wouldn't have stated there was no forced entry?

IMO

Yes her cousin did live here and she might have confided in her. Her closest friend appeared to live in California. She is the one she would have confided in most likely, other than her hairdresser.;)

As for the bracelet I'm thinking like you that it might have been a gift from a former boyfriend. I wonder who noticed it was missing.

"cranial trauma" (Brain dysfunction caused by an outside force, usually a violent blow to the head) would say to me that the killer was very angry with the victim.

Or he just wanted to make sure she was dead.

Well, forced entry means no doors were kicked in, windows or locks broken, etc.
But a person can force their way in without damaging anything. Anyway...just more speculation.

I'm thinking this could be an ex boyfriend maybe not happy about her new wedding plans. One article I read did say a neighbor did have a security cam that confirmed the current boyfriend's story of finding the body. Maybe the security cam captured some other stuff too.

It confirmed the time the perp left the scene. 1:00 am. It did not catch the perp on arrival. This from "sources"

Also...I married late, in my thirties, and without exception, my exes were all jerks and did stupid things when I dumped them. I was embarrassed by most of them and did not tell anyone just how stupid and sometimes threatening they became, for reasons of my own. So trust me, it is possible to have a violent or possessive or just plain insane ex and no one close to you be aware of it. And without social media at the time, LE would have had a hard time figuring out who to look at, Imo, if one had really gone too far.

Cluciano, there was a deed of reassignment on that house she bought that was recorded only a couple of days before her body was found. What do you make of that?

Not sure? Was she refinancing? Needing equity? Not sure what that could be. Unless it was not initiated by her? Just done by the city?

It was entered by the county recorder. It could be the loan was sold to another lender but the timing does seem strange. I wonder if you make any changes to the loan, like say beneficiary, if that would make for a new entry.

I know just what you mean! I'm surprised I lived through some of my exes threats too. And I would have never shared these with my parents or even a new boyfriend. I did have a stalker who stalked me for ten years before they caught him trying to sneak into my house. I lived in a guarded community and he had talked the guard into letting him in saying he had an appointment with me and I must have forgotten to let them know. It was the scariest thing that I have ever had happen next to when someone broke into my house while I was sleeping. Anyway, the stalker turned out to be someone I had bought shoes from a couple of times. You just never know.....

If she was doing a re-fi for a loan, could she have had a large amount of cash around?

BBM: for their firing I hope you mean... how did you come by this information and do you think it is pertinent?

No not firing. This phone had a mind of its own. They died. I know this because another former employee of that company who supposedly sued them for some reason and is one of my closest friends daughter in law saw her post this on Facebook. I checked out the young man who worked in human resources. I think he was in his thirties. I don't know much about this latest one other than my friend sent me a screen shot which I can't post here. What do you think?
