Yes AZ is a concealed carry state. It could have been Allison's gun. We don't know. At this point we don't even know if the news report was correct. But good question.

BBM - it's possible the timing could be narrowed to somewhere between 8 pm - 11pm (to 1 am)? Allison's Mom talked to her at 8 and dad tried to text at 11pm. When did the sister talk to her to hear she booted the BF out?

If they have surveillance video for 1 am, did they eliminate the BF? One article said they couldn't eliminate that it was someone she knew, but that's not saying much.

Are they thinking someone could have been int he house for two hours (11pm or before to 1am)?

Your guess about the time is about as good as mine, even with the ever-changing news reports and police leaks and community meetings.

About the sister's report of Allison booting Alex out of the house - we don't know where she heard this. We don't know if Alex told her this or if Allison told her parents this and they told the sister. Or if Alex told the parents.

I think that Minnesota is on Central Time and so the time difference at that time (before DST kicked in) would have been one hour. So if her mom spoke with her about 8 pm her time it would have been 7 pm AZ time. If her dad texted her at 11 pm it would have been 10 pm AZ time.

Everyone who knew her states she never had her phone off. So I suppose we can assume that sometime after she spoke with her mom at 7 pm her phone was disabled in some way. I don't know what prevents a text message from going through. I have an iPhone and even if I turn my phone off text messages will still go through. Of course I don't get them or read them until I turn my phone back on. That part is a bit of a mystery to me. In spite of what her friends and family said, it is still possible that Allison might have turned off her phone for a while. So, it's difficult to pinpoint exactly when the perp might have arrived and departed based on calls or texts to her cell phone. At some point I do feel pretty certain that the killer did disable it, for obvious reasons.

I don't know how they have eliminated the BF as a suspect, but I have read and "heard" that they have.

I think it is doubtful Allison would have let someone come in her house that she didn't know at a late hour.

Based on the times, etc. I'm thinking the killer might have arrived as early as 8 or 9 pm AZ time and departed at 1 AM as stated by LE. And again, I am going back to her not letting anyone in way late so I'm assuming those times from when she spoke to her mom and then her dad's text didn't go through at ten pm.

I'm thinking she let them in because she knew them. They were there for awhile. An argument ensued. A terrible struggle. She was killed. He tried to destroy the evidence. He couldn't. He finally panicked and left.

This is again...pure conjecture. I have no crystal ball or inside information about who killed her or the manner in which she died or the times.

Did the killer enter in the back of her home & leave thru a different exit and only get caught on camera leaving? They must have a approx height or possibly build of the perp from the camera pic. Ive been thinking about this and hope I didnt already post these thoughts...sorry if I did.

I read this in one of the local news reports. It clearly stated this:

"The boyfriend is not considered a suspect."

I'm sorry I don't have a link and don't have time to go find one right now. I have also heard it from other somewhat reliable sources.

Did the killer enter in the back of her home & leave thru a different exit and only get caught on camera leaving? They must have a approx height or possibly build of the perp from the camera pic. I have read every report that has come out and they haven't reported any of the things you asked about in your post. I assume he came in through the front door because I don't think she would have let anyone in from the backyard or garage door entry late at night.

And I'm also assuming, as has been in so many reports, that it was someone she knew, and didn't fear.

I haven't read what the camera caught and don't even know for sure if it was the camera that caught him leaving that determined he left at 1:00 am.

I'm assuming this only.

But I do think you're correct in that even if they can't determine exactly who it was they can get a good idea of his build etc.

If the family is on a family phone plan, you can go into the account and look to see if a text was received (opened/read). I have done this with my sons as we are on a family plan. So perhaps that's what the dad meant about the text didn't go through. I do find it interesting though that he was texting her so late after the mom spoke with her at 8:00. That does seem to potentially show that there was worry about her. It was said he sent a text at 11:00. If that's Minnesota time, that means he was texting her at midnight AZ time.

Great questions! I still wonder if the perp was unknown to her, maybe came in thru the back of the home and possibly she was showering and taken by surprise. Mind boggling!

Allison was a highly professional 31 year old saleswoman and I would feel very certain wasn't on a calling plan with her parents.

As for the time: At the time of Allison's death there was a one hour time difference in Minnesota and Arizona.

That would mean if it was 11:00 pm Central time (Minnesota is on Central time) then it would be 10:00 PM Mountain time (Arizona is on Mountain time)

So Dad called her at 11 pm his time and 10 pm Allison's time.

Her mom is a flight attendant isn't she? I heard they had to carry her off the plane when she heard about Allison. This is just such a terrible thing for this family.
