Just to add,if it was a neighbor, then why would LE tell the community that they shouldn't be afraid? I'm sure there were other attractive women living in the neighborhood. Why would a neighbor just target her?
Ok, all caught up and still feel like I/We are at square one.
On AF's Father saying the text was not delivered:
AF had an iPhone. If her Dad also has an iPhone or was using an iPad or Mac they would have likely been talking over iMessage. iMessage, transmitted over data and not shown on cell records, show the delivery status of sent/received messages and will show "Delivered" if the message is received and can show "Read at [time]" if the receiver has read receipts turned on. This is likely how he determined the message was not delivered. The only reasons messages are not delivered: Their phone is off, is out of battery (off), or is out of cell range and/or (wifi).
On the taking of the bracelet and phone:
Phone: Taken to destroy evidence. If the family has put it in lost mode and the phone has been or is ever powered back on it will be pinged immediately and location will be sent to Apple servers.
Bracelet: Memento for the killer to remember his victim by, like a sick keepsake.
LE has released next to nothing in terms of information. Why? They have someone in mind? Why not release the video evidence? Why not tell us more about the DNA profile?
Is it possible AF was having an affair?
Did LE actually say this?Because she lives ALONE?
LE said that in the beginning but now it does not sound like it's isolated. Why else would they say it could be someone nearby.
Did LE actually say this?
No, to my knowledge the only thing that has ever been stated by LE is that it "could be someone in the area".
They weren't married. It CAN be an agreement between the parties because of religious/moral views, but NOT noted on the decree, UNLESS "Higgins v. Higgins" is in play.
Someone could always try to pull the divorce degree if it was done in Maricopa County........but I doubt that's and issue.
BBM: I have thought about this as well. Not saying that she was having an affair (I use that term loosely b/c she wasn't even engaged) but what if she sent the bf "home to study" b/c she had invited someone else over? It could be harmless, taking a current friendship to a new level, exploring her options, having a ***** session about current BF (we don't know who she let off steam to) any of these things could mean having someone over and them knowing her bf wasn't returning (unless he forgot something, they got lucky with that) b/c they were the reason she sent him away.
IMO, it had to be someone she felt comfortable enough with in her house (no sign of forced entry) or she opened the door for someone who pushed their way in the door. The only other reasons for "no signs of forced entry" are:
unlocked doors (if bf was pushing for alarm, why would she leave doors unlocked)
a key that opens the locks (copy, found a lost key, previous owner, neighbor with a spare, someone with her stolen key)
a code or opener to the garage (some robbers have been known to copy your code or have a universal opener) AND the interior house door unlocked
an open window (the low was 55 degrees that night)
My theory is she opened the door for this person. I honestly feel sad for her wondering what was going through her mind when she realized this was the end. RIP Allison.![]()
If the killer came between 8, and 11, there is a very good chance that her doors may have not been locked.
I wonder if she used her air conditioner, or would of had doors open on a nice night?
Chances are, she'd have the heater set to kick on when it got down to 68 degrees. That's how winter is in Scottsdale.

Yeah, I agree. I lived in FL for 3 years. When it got down below 60 we were cold. LOL What I wouldn't give to have 55 in the winter here.
I can't even remember wearing a coat last winter. A sweater at times but never a coat.
I thought they said it could be someone close by. Guess I'm wrong. "Someone in the area", meaning all of Scottsdale?
Thanks rub it in.LOL We had the coldest winter on record:tantrum:
