He looks like he’s related to Dr. Teresa Sievers’ murderous husband.

The details of the document are hard to read but help me understand the horror that Allison went through at the end of her life. I'm thankful for DNA and HATE that it took so long for them to get the match but the relief is they did. Random burglary gone wrong? Why rape then strangle? I think he targeted her, the timing of the boyfriend being gone and her being home alone were too coincidental IMO.

IMHO this guy has done this before and if there is DNA, will be linked to other similar cases. JMO

This gives us hope lfor the many unsolved/cold cases.

Tell me he WASN'T released???!!!! :please:

Since he's due to be appointed a lawyer due to indigent status, I seriously doubt he'll ever make that 5 million cash bail.

An ex-girlfriend of his lives on the same street as the victim.

Mitcham lives in Phoenix, but he was likely in the area because he has a child with a woman who lives there.
Ironically, the woman lives on the very same street as Feldman, but the two homes are three miles apart.

The woman was granted an order of protection against Mitcham four months ago. She claims he has a history of domestic violence and substance abuse.

Quite a character this guy. I have to wonder if he had been hiding in the alley behind Allison's home maybe drinking and watching/stalking people in their houses or whatnot?

Wow. I just found out about this arrest. I'm so pleasantly surprised. Prayers for Allison's family and friends. Keeping them in my thoughts.

I wonder if the familial matching process will become more common, it would clear up a lot of cold cases, as they could use all the voluntary DNA samples collected during an investigation, as well as the offender database.o

The State of Indiana passed the law this session. Maybe the Delphi double homicide UnSub will be caught in the trap of familial DNA. I am thrilled this worked out for Allison but sure wish that evil alcoholic had left her alone.

I'm wondering "WHY" he wasn't in the DNA data base. His previous charges should have warranted it, but the minutes from court proceedings are unavailable.
His attorney(s) must have done some sweet deals to get that bypassed.

The scenario in this crime now looks like(IMO):

1. Burglary gone wrong
2. Assault turned murder with a burglary cover-up

Don't believe murder was the intent, I'm sure IM's running the "should have, could have" matra through his head right now sitting in jail. Nothing in his previous charges would have warranted killing a witness to escape a long incarceration.

Can't find any updates on this morning's hearing.

His girlfriend reported domestic abuse, he's the kind will vent his aggression/frustration on a woman. I'm totally speculating, but possibly he had extra aggression stirred up by his DUI charges, and rather than attack his girlfriend, he turned on poor Allison. Just to take it out on someone.

That was my exact thought... that he got in a fight with his GF and stormed out and started walking... saw Allison and something about her reminded him of the GF and he took it out on her? I wouldn’t be surprised if the GF resembles Allison in some way.

Juan Martinez will be prosecuting the case for the State. If this case doesn't plea out and it goes to trial, it should be worth watching if we can get a feed from local news outlets.

Hey, YorN!

We just might have another mission for the Juanettes in the near future, eh? I'm thinking August or September unless Ian M pulls a "Jodi".

:drumroll:

I'll do "twitter" duty if we don't get a live feed..................wonder who the Judge will be?
