I’m beginning to wonder if she parked her car and was picked up. It’s been quiet here and in the media.

@STR3TCH1982 - I’m sure you are very busy working with critical parties to the investigation. I’m actually hoping you have received good news and need to stay low key.

Please - when you get time - circle back to us and let us know how you are doing. We are the worrying type here.

Whatever your faith/spiritual practice, please ask/bring/send comfort to those boys & their Dads, and safety & reason to Mom!

Guys -- call either Dad! He will get help to both of you!

Maybe this has been asked already... would she be arrested for kidnapping her youngest child??? she isn't just missing but breaking the law. Correct?

Nothing new to report as of now. I have hired a lawyer. She’ll turn up eventually, I assume that police will bring charges in the near future. Thank you everyone, my gut tells me that they are alive.

Thank you for checking in. I’ve been worried that the sighting of her car may not have confirmed she was actually driving it. Aka stolen car. Prayers and hope remain UP.

Wishing you strength through this ordeal, STR3TCH, and a speedy and happy end to it.

That’s an interesting site. I wonder if my divorce and all its dirty laundry are hanging out for others to read.

I think it depends on the state. PA has publicly available family court data.

Thank you for sharing the court site again.

There’s an 8/31 entry for a motion filed “pro per”. Amy filed it herself. Glad she’s ok. Sad that LE resources were spent looking for a couple of weeks when she was safe all along.

The term “pro per” is an abbreviation of the Latin phrase “in propria persona,” meaning “in their own person,” and it refers to a situation where a litigant represents themselves, without a lawyer.

Have they been found??

No news on locating them, that I’m aware of. The father is a VI and posted upthread that they will turn up. And the court motion filed by Amy in person leads me to conclude they are ok / in hiding. I sure hope the boys are ok. Keeping the faith.

how can you tell the motion was filed by her?

Looks like an arrest warrant…

It sure does.

I guess that's 'good' news as it essentially confirms what has been talked about here and eliminates any kind of camping accident or foul play.

Hopefully someone she loves and trusts will encourage her to do the right thing.

The safety of the boys is my only concern. Despite whatever problems she may have, I pray she is a loving mamma who cares for and will take care of her sons.

Well, now we know that the police would like a word with her. I agree that this is good news in the fact that they are most certainly not at the mercy of the high desert. I have many questions and concerns at this point. My primary desire is to see them found alive and safe, we can work out the details after that. I don’t know this woman anymore, I knew her a long time ago. She was someone that I deeply loved, then deeply resented. I don’t wish her any harm, I don’t feel a need for some sort of revenge, her suffering is my suffering because ultimately it is our sons suffering. There are no winners in this.

I see what you mean now. Sorry for the confusion. The overall case lists Amy as petitioner, but the header must not change per motion or order. The 8/31 motion likely was filed by Miles’ father. The 8/23 motion was filed by the father.

Until I hear that LE has located them, safe, and they announce it’s a private family matter, no further reports will be released, etc… I’m back to worrying. Keeping the faith but…

Did she have a second car? Could she have been in an accident? Might she be suicidal? ugh.
