Arizona missing persons cases - 2023

Information was supplied by law enforcement and describes current, active reports of missing persons in the Phoenix-metro area and other cities in Arizona.

MCSO is asking the public’s help on locating 16-year-old Ayana Ortega. Ayana was last seen on October 9, 2023, at her residence near El Mirage Rd and W Camelback Rd.

On Friday (5/9) a females remains were found with a similar description of her hair and clothing (Grey sweatpants, red shirt) about 6 hours north of her last seen location. Four miles south of the TA truck stop in Beaver Dam and one mile west of I-15. The original missing person report states her intent to run away, and the remains were found with additional clothing. I'm wondering if this could be connected?

Woman's body found below 80-foot cliff in Mohave County

The Mohave County Sheriff's Office needs help identifying a woman who was found dead at the bottom of an 80-foot cliff.

The woman had black shoulder-length hair that investigators described as "matted."

"There is limited physical description information due to the decomposition of the body," the sheriff's office said.
