DOD was pre-1976. Crossing the border wasn’t a big deal then. In some places, people were coming and going. More likely might be the Native American community?

Diane Webb has some strangely conflicting/random info on the NamUs panel. At 17, she’s a wife. Her eyes are grey, but look violet. The size of a breast is provided.
The perp might be someone she’s hung out with and gave LE a random bunch of non-identifiers.

Patricia Chesher is appallingly tiny, if that’s the real info. A Caucasian female at 12 years old who is only 4’ tall and weighs 86 pounds…

I would think the MP listing would pick out a 4’ skeleton, but maybe not.

Could this be Sherry Jean Pickle? If she was missing from Long Beach but believed to be in Borrego Springs with a "male companion", it's not out of the question for her body to be dumped further out into the desert in another state.
Also, Linda Ann Miller was en route to Guadalajara, MX from San Rafael, CA on a Greyhound bus. It's not unreasonable to think she may have met foul play somewhere along the way.
