@Billi@m One thing you might consider is to take the offer up from this guy in comments about drone help. Yavapai County Sheriff's Office

I have to say— I agree with the other commenters. I don’t understand not reporting him missing right away.

I would second the suggestion to find somebody who could cover the territory with drones. That's how they finally found the remains of Paul Miller in Joshua Tree in similar terrain.

Thank you. I'm trying to find that location on a map. Can you drop a pin for me on this link? Google Maps
From what I can gather based on discussions, it's about where East of the resort meets north of Lake Pleasant. Below is a quote from one of those discussions.

"And leaving with no supplies he would of stuck to the water way. And they only went out a mile down the water way. It took me 50 mins to hike that distance and I chain smoke. What takes me 50 mins would take him 30 to 40 mins"

I don't know what the "water way" would be in this context. I couldn't find any rivers in that area going to Lake Pleasant in the satellite imagery of the Google Maps link you provided above.

It looks like the agua fria river glows to lake pleasant. But wow, that description is very broad.

I got the long/lat from location details of the image I shared above from his wife. This link is of the area. I'm so glad she's not sick of my questions yet...

That's the second time I've seen that initialism here. I can't figure it out. Google tells me it could be short for decibels, don't bother me, or designated baby momma. None of these work in context. Lol

As a survivalist, it makes sense he would head towards water. What are the main elements of survival? Water, shelter, fire, food. You don’t want to build a shelter until you have your water source so you are not very far away from it. Your shelter needs to protect you from heat, rein and wind. I don’t think there are very many shelter materials out there so heading for an outcrop near water would probably be the next order of business. IMO,IME.

Deleted by me, which means sometimes we either double post or see someone else has posted our thought so we delete it. The site doesn’t give the option of not posting anything once we’ve started. FWIW

To that end, this is apparently the best time to live off the land out there. Water is flowing down those roads and my other friends in that area have flooded driveways this time every year. Attached are the pictures of the search routes that the police department sent to Jessica. She says she can get me better quality images when she gets home. He was last seen at the white dot with the red x and you can see that a waterfall was marked on the map.

Just noting that I see something labeled Buckhorn Creek from that location. I’ll upload a screenshot.

Yes, I saw that tagged in the search route images I posted above. It's in the lower right quadrant from that pov.

@Billi@m so thankful you are sticking around and providing updates.

It’s been so long now. I do believe he could survive out there. I want to believe.

Hope the drone situation works out. That may be the best option at this point.

Oh Corey...where are you?

Double posting is usually from a software bug, not somebody's deliberate action.

I've found that if my post appears, but the box with the gray dots in the upper right is still there saying it's working, that's when it's thinking about double posting. And usually if I go to a different page (hitting the browser back arrow, for instance) it stops the double post.

Most of the time, anyway.

A "Missing Corey Bailey" page had been started on Facebook. I shared the yavapai county sheriff's missing person post wherein that drone company offered assistance and asked others to send messages. They have. Hopefully something comes of this. Thank you for sharing that post here or it may have been missed entirely.

The drone place got back to me. Here was their reply.

"Evening,
Sorry for the late response. I haven’t received any contact from Yavapai County Sheriff Dept. I don’t know much about Corey besides what they say on the news. I only have a standard camera, if I can receive more info I might be able to help. I’m sorry I can’t do much as of now, I hope all the best. Please keep me updated."

I then replied asking what other info they needed, shared the missing Corey Bailey page so they can post there, and asked for service rates.

What is the name of the drone organization?
