The aerial photo (posted Oct 14 2021) from Buckeye PD website shows Daniel’s jeep and to the left if you zoom in it looks like there are two people standing together. Temperature July 21st was 106. Are they LE? Where is their vehicle if so? Maybe it’s something else?

My guess is those folks are either LE or from San Tan Recon, who apparently went there that day and who I assume is operating the drone to take the photo. MOO

His boot laces were undone? Did he usually walk around like that? Sometimes? Never? Always?

Because it doesn't sound great on the safety side of things, not for driving, and least of all if you have a scientific field job!

Plus, walking around with your laces undone looks like something isn't right.
Good point.

All I know is, in the police report page 23 Kenneth stated "HE ALSO NOTED THAT DANIEL'S SHOES WERE NOT TIED." (caps due to direct copy and paste) but the widely publicized picture of him (example here https://thelambdas.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/HELP-US-FIND-DANIEL.png) has the brown work boots tied.
MOO it might be reasonable that Ken noted the untied laces correctly and that DR had untied laces for the remainder of the day. If he was wearing the same style pants he would have had to take the boots off before the pants anyways.
IMO seeing the boots tied in the upload and not being tied at the job site is telling us something is going on here of not tying the boots. I wonder if he was tired? Too tired to tie them?

Actually when the helicopter first flew over I believe they missed his Jeep. Same with the drones. I could be wrong but isn't this photo taken before the Jeep was actually found. In this photo I don't see others in the area nor LE vehicles or other vehicles on the horizon (vehicles). I would really like to know what date this photo was actually taken.

The other thing is if the Jeep was missed when the helicopter and drones flew over what else was missed. I mean if this is drone footage or even taken from a helicopter then without excellent observation as Eyerish Eyes has done here IMO they look like specks on the ground so I can see the missing of the jeep. But my concern is what else did they miss. And I'm not faulting them either. But its a vast desert in that context some things are difficult to judge IMO. As LE said (I believe) the color of the jeep blended in. I honestly have a feeling that some things were missed because of the vastness. If that's the case maybe all the footage should be looked at again maybe even a few more times.

I am curious if the cc he used at Gas station was in the wallet. He had a basketball that was recovered so I am fixated on the idea that he was in shoes not boots, as the geologist described; and the clothing at the accident site could have been “yesterday’s” clothes. Maybe he changed out of them to play some ball and forgot where his wallet was the next morning when he needed gas. If the cc is in the wallet then it is definitive that those are the jeans he had on. But if not, then it is possible that the boots and clothes at the site were not what he had on that day-they were just in the jeep.

Forgetting might also explain why he only got as much gas as he did. But I wish there really was some way to know for sure. If I may ask why do you think he may have been in shoes as opposed to boots as was mentioned by his coworker? Maybe his coworker confused the statement and thought it was so?

I also really wish we knew if he was binge gaming the previous night. If he was then he could have been tired. I tried to go back and look at the times he was texting on the 22nd but couldn't see what went on after 7:30PM other than the Uber trip back home. Another thing is on the morning of the 23rd he was at the gas station for 3 minutes from 7:00AM to 7:03AM. That's pretty quick so he definately used his credit card. Otherwise it would take longer if he went inside to pay. The point is he was agile at that point. He wasn't slow moving. Coud it be that his body was agile but his mind wanted to rest? Thus the statement to Kenneth about resting?

I’m not sure if I am understanding you correctly so forgive me if I’m not but see attached from Buckeye PD report

See upthread for entire discussion. Daniel is born without a right hand. And while I'm sure he could tie his shoes it would be a hassle. Keeping them loosely tied to remove quickly would be the way I would go. Co-workers indicate it was common. Also that day there is a theory he was very tired from late night gaming session and perhaps he was trying to go off to nap. I believe most people at least loosen up there shoes to nap. Gap in time for nap prior to meeting Kevin as well as after leaving work site.

For what purpose? You can't ID a person on the ground or maybe not even another vehicle. Video resolution is uniformly low and not at all like at a stop light or freeway toll booth. The only video that would exist is on June 25 (Phx Firebird), some drone footage which is useless with the shrubbery and Mesquite tee growth, and then Civil Air Patrol on the 9th of July.
