It sounds like the defense objected and Juan doesn't have that info. So they had to recess until tomorrow until they could get that info for court. I guess?

The version of a key witness in the case of a Phoenix officer accused of murder cannot be trusted because that witness, the other officer on the scene, was mostly out of sight during the course of the five-minute confrontation that led to the shooting of an unarmed man, a defense attorney told jurors Wednesday afternoon.

In the opening statement of former Phoenix Police Officer Richard Chrisman’s defense, his attorney Craig Mehrens argued that the state’s chief witness, Officer Sergio Virgillo, stayed outside the trailer during the course of the call because he fears vicious dogs, was scared of the suspect and was taking a personal phone call from his mechanic.
