Thanks so much Jewels! Even that reporter calls it 'a high profile trial' - so how could there possibly be no 'interest'? We need a live feed, and we need it now. Okay, tomorrow. lol

I agree,it's not like every day a cop is on trial for murder in the line of duty.

I am trying to watch three trials. Whew! But Juan's case is one of them.

It seems there has to be cameras in the courtroom if we can see parts of Juan's opening doesn't it?

Has there been any articles stating this Judge wouldn't allow cameras?

I loved seeing Juan again but it was too short. I want to see him all through this case.

What a rouge cop this creep is. I hope Juan gets him good.

News 12 or something like that have a camera in there but as far as I'm aware because no large network ie. Hln have shown interest in a live stream they won't stream but have recorded everything so I'm hoping it shows up on YouTube.

I did tweet Water about streaming and I know others have but I guess we will have to wait and see. I'm off to tweet Vinnie p about it

The second-degree murder trial of a Phoenix police officer will come down to what transpired in a five-minute span in the small front room of a south Phoenix trailer nearly three years ago.

The suspect-turned-victim in the case, Daniel Frank Rodriguez, was unarmed, all sides concede, but jurors will be asked to determine whether Phoenix Officer Richard Chrisman’s use of lethal force following the five-minute confrontation was justified.

Chrisman claims he had no choice but to shoot Rodriguez because the officer’s partner had abandoned him and none of the non-lethal tactics he had used to subdue Rodriguez, who was high on methamphetamine, had worked. Chrisman’s partner on the call, Officer Sergio Virgillo, told jurors he had successfully de-escalated the tension inside the tiny trailer just before Chrisman shot Rodriguez’s dog and then killed Rodriguez.

Folks are shouting on Twitter but the media is turning a deaf ear, I'm just annoyed. And even more annoyed that the cop who is getting on the stand and telling the truth is getting no support from the police department that is supposed to be *all about the truth*. Okay, rant done. lol
