LOL Yeah, I was surprised to see that too, and JM had such flow going. I haven't seen the afternoon portion yet but from the tweets it looks like it gets hairy. lol

Wow, I am finally caught up. Thank you all for the transcribing and the tweets. I know how tiring it can be. I have heard of banker's hours but these court hours in AZ are actually just part time.
Ok, I'm kinda glad I haven't watched any of the non-live feed stuff yet. Seeing dead humans doesn't bother me but seeing the dead dog will.
I am still totally clueless about how old DR was? Can somebody please help me out here?
It's 1:05am and I started my adventure to get caught up at around at around 11:45pm and 2 cups of coffee got me through it. Decaf. No court tomorrow. So far it reads like Juan is on his game.
It's sooo good to be back with such friendly faces again, you've been missed!!

These stupid teasers are driving me nuts. No we won't broadcast, yes we will, no we won't, oh look here is a taped portion of morning testimony, oh lets pull the plug on that. Come on now AZ...

Yes, this has been an irritating trial so far in that respect, if the judge allows a pool camera, what's this nonsense about no live feed but we'll sorta feed it not-live when we feel like it and how much we feel like? And why aren't complete vids getting out and how are partial ones getting out? What is the point of having a live feed camera???
Sorry, have a lot of frustration about the way this is being handled. I'll blame AS for some of it, her atty's argument for aquittal is really annoying. Someone needs to pop kiss him (I don't know what that is either lol).

I just read the autopsy report and came away thinking that DR posed no bodily threat to Chrisman. He weighed only 141 pounds and was only 5' 6" tall. Skinny and scrawny in my opinion. Had he been 6'4" and weighed 225 pounds maybe I could see a definite threat in Chrisman's mind? And I found out he was 29 per the autopsy. With dirty fingernails. Do we know what he did for a living? I am somewhat lost with respect to the lesser important details of this case and haven't done my homework prior to the start of the trial as I would have liked.

My brother gave me a taser for my birthday several years ago. I keep it hidden because of my 6 year old grandson, so it's pretty useless with respect to my having it for protection. We were changing rooms completely around a couple of months ago and I found it, and accidentally tasered myself. I'm telling you all what, it hurt like the dickens. I did my hand, thankfully not an organ, but my hand felt like lightning had struck it for an hour. I can't imagine being zapped repeatedly in the chest or stomach, and I can certainly understand how every now and then a suspect ends up dead afterward. I don't ever want to be on the receiving end of a serious zapping incident--especially by a crazy cop or a crazy husband.

NC I know I shouldn't laugh but that totally reminds me of something I'd do to myself.

I never want to be on the receiving end either. Makes you wonder how people can be tazed and seem completely unaffected

Here's something to read while we all wait for the tidbits they throw our way...

http://www.kpho.com/story/19982104/...hat-happened-during-officer-involved-shooting

This is a new slant on things. I don't take it as an excuse for what Chrisman did, but it sounds as though Officer V. may be in the wrong line of work. I hope we hear more from him, through interviews or testimony, as we need to get a better perspective of him as an law enforcement officer. We know that he is afraid of dogs after having watched his sister being attacked by one many years ago, is sensitive to pepper spray, arrived on the scene ready to take a report even though he knew it was a domestic violence call....and domestic violence calls are the most dangerous--so it seems to me he was ill-prepared, and he was obviously ready to clear the scene well before anything was resolved with respect to why they were even called there in the first place as was revealed in the interview (link) above. I hope some of the answers are answered during the trial but Chrisman may as well have been there alone is my take right now.
DR was a cute little guy, too bad his life was so messed up. Sad that he's dead now and will never have the opportunity to get his life straightened out.

There was only a partial video on YouTube. I'm not even sure they came back on after lunchtime
