I can't be bothered cooking,my foot gets sore after two mind on my feet and chocolate cake and ice cream is calling me....I don't want to eat while watching Juan cause I'm sure there are moments to come where I could possibly spit it out :floodlight:

Sent from my 'alternate reality' using my hippocampus

I wasn't making fun at you for the need to eat. I just thought it unusual the difference in what people call things is all. Kind of like coke, soda, or pop. if you know what I mean.

How long do they think it will take for your foot to heal?

Yeah, RC was more wound up that day than DR was even on meth.

Do you all think Juan is making headway or scoring points?

I don't know. This is certainly not as clear cut a case the Jodi Arias trial, and there are probably not going to be any gas can type moments.

This is a second degree murder case and I think the jury will have to put some of this stuff together for themselves, much like we have re: Chrisman escalating the situation and him not knowing where Virgillo is, etc. I think he is making some good points. IMO, sometimes that can get lost of he's moving too fast or going to hard or too loud. Chrisman is also working very hard at controlling his true nature and suppressing what his instincts are when dealing with Juan, being that he appears to be a racist hot head.

I think he's scoring some points. But I also hope that he doesn't get too caught up in minutiae or things that aren't really that important so that the jury thinks he isn't doing that with every point he makes.

Seems like if any jurors had doubts before RC took the stand, they should be withering away under JM's cross. He's not even at the point of DR being shot and already RC seems out of control. Didn't seem so sensitive and feaful then, eh?

i agree,i know he's not on trial for shooting the dog but that part would have just sent me over the edge. after him saying he doesn't think dog feel the pain o a tazer so he shot...wth :stormingmad:

He is on trial for animal cruelty. And if I am not mistaken, he's basically said the dog wasn't attacking him under cross. He should not have shot him. Also, the placement of the wounds on the dog call into question whether the dog was even a threat to him.

The way I see it is that Chrisman was definately the agressor and had no reason to shoot even the dog, much less Daniel. He went in there with an attitude, today in testimony he clearly said that he grabbed Daniel when he was standing in the breach of the doorway (to try to get him outside). He said Daniel hit the side of the door and lunged backwards. That means that Chrisman obviously started reaching for him the minute Daniel opened the door.
But I'm done with trying to predict what the jury thinks. Jury Foreman in CMJA trial saw things totally opposite from what I saw, even though I watched almost every second of the trial. Jury in Joshua Young saw things differently than I did.

so i was just thinking,if convicted obviously he goes to prison but its my understanding that non cop inmates will not take too kindly to a cop is that right? if it is where will he go?

i don't think he deserves to be secluded from gen pop,he is a murder the same as any other murderer in my eyes

I broke my wrist a couple years ago and it itched madly, esp. my fingers and the area just below where I could reach on the cast. I could move it so it wasn't constricted but oh it itched. Mention any concerns you have when you go to the hospital on Monday but the itching sounds normal, at least what I experienced.

I just learned something interesting. The Miranda warning was named after Ernesto Miranda, a Hispanic resident of Arizona. In the landmark case, Miranda v. Arizona, the Supreme Court threw out his conviction because Miranda had given a statement to police and it was used against him. This was back in 1966.

RC was given his Miranda warning upon his arrest. Does anyone else find this ironic?

Lissette Martinez ‏@martinezliss 1h defense attorney keep shaking their heads as Juan Martinez continues his aggressive cross of #richardchrisman
---

LOL I'll bet.

I'm wondering about the witness they were talking about this morning before the jury came in, at one point the judge says they weren't going to be testifying today - was that a rebuttal witness? I thought this was the defense's last one, may be wrong, JA sure wasn't the last one for that defense team.
