How unprofessional to discuss this with anyone outside of the investigation? In medicine we can't do that. The last witness IMO showed bias. Wonder why she was taken off this case?

if i were whatever channel that is the main pool camera i would have a new camera man in place from tomorrow! nothing like this has happened in any trial i have watched. i mean its not hard to keep the camera off the right hand side is it

Let's all give a big THANK YOU to the CMJA cameraman for NEVER showing any jury member....can you guys imagine the he** Nurmi would have raised for that?? Mistrial, Mistrial!! Hearing, hearing!! My client got her right to fair trial denied, this has been the biggest travesty to the judicical system EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thats what i was wondering,i thought Juan would have asked why.....i also think she has a bias towards RC and that is why she was taken off.

hopefully the jurors will put 2 and 2 together

In the Andrea Sneiderman trial, he showed a juror once....it was when they were walking in, it was the juror who sat on the edge closest to the camera. It's wasn't full view, but you could see a partial view.

Ok...will be back on 12:30 my time tomorrow! I'm kind of glad (make that REALLY glad) HLN isn't getting into this trial, b/c I feel like now we can actually see the courtroom how it usually operates....for example, the objection about Agilla's lying that the judge was deciding on, that would all have been done in sidebar during CMJA trial. We wouldn't have gotten to hear any of that.

But I guess all the secrecy of JSS court during CMJA has benefit, b/c whenever Nurmi tries to say during appeal that CMJA didn't get fair trial b/c of all the publicity, JSS can say that the public only got to see what the jury saw. She can only control the information given to the public out of the courtroom, she can't control what the media says/doesn't say. That should take care of that issue.

I hope the US Department of Justice is paying attention to this trial. They are investigating PLEA and maybe it will extend to the Arizona criminal justice system as a whole. There is bias in that courtroom, but I never thought it would be the individuals who are charged with upholding the law as well as overseeing it. JMV

I am getting that feeling also. He seems very upset with Juan.

Sorry to the juanettes but, as he should be, imo. I heard a snippet of his "questioning" on the local radio news tonight and was just like same old, same old. Improper, unprofessional, belligerent shouty "questions" that clearly and obviously violate the rules to the extent you have to conclude they were never intended NOT to violate them, imo. He's also otherwise unprofessional in the extreme, imo. And I'm talking about under the AZ rules of professional conduct and responsibility and the class on professionalism that every single attorney is required to take before they practice in AZ -- regardless of whether they'd been practicing for decades before it was deemed necessary.

Arizona made this change due to the deterioration of civility and integrity in the profession. Imo, Juan is a poster child for why it was necessary.I wish I could find the AZ Supreme Court Justice's video introducing the course. It explains why I find Juan's behavior so abhorrent. jmo
