Yes I am up and I think I am ready. I sure hope Juan can put all of this together for the jury today. Listening to the testimony this weekend I wondered at times how invested Juan was really in this trial.

You were right geevee he didn't personalize with the victim. This is a different kind of trial than the JA, maybe personalizing the victim isn't necessary.

I've wondered the same thing Jewels, I know he's in a tough position because he normally relies on these guys (PD) for his cases and now they're all working against him. But the PD should be wanting the same thing the prosecutor's office is, justice for the victim and the guilty to be run through the system the same way WE ARE.

Hmm...that would make sense. They're thinking if they get a NOT GUILTY, they don't want him to get the other animal cruely charge and then he still (I'm assuming) has to serve some time for that. They're trying to get him to just walk out the door....

Good deduction, and I agree. Don't see how the judge can remove it though, testimony showed the dog was *not* a danger to him and he killed it.

Thanks about the knife, haven't seen the pic and didn't get to watch whatever ME testimony may be on YT this weekend. Too much football. lol

I agree and that is how I feel. I wonder how the officer next to him ( I don't remember his name) feels? I would think no matter who killed who, if you are a cop or not shouldn't matter. Someone is dead for no reason, the other person's life was not really threatened. At least this is how I have seen the testimony.

And what a poor public display of where their sympathies lie - PPD has made it abundantly clear where their support is, and it is not with the departed. As a juror that would make such a large impact on me.

That right Porter and I have only heard it at least a 1,000 times. lol This getting old effects my memory of names in a horrible way. I can remember most of everything else, until it comes to names. I have 4 granddaughter's that names begin with K that really makes me think.

Thanks geevee, for challenging me! I sure hope this jury has put together the pieces well. We have not heard too much comment about how the juror's are reacting. Other than an occasional paying attention.
